They race before bikes but sometimes they run slightly different tracks/trails

There is little risk of other riders tire getting caught in the front and full nerfs can get caught on obstacles. But the main reason is most riders like the look of just heal guards

They could be doing triple back flips at Mach 1 through the trees and I’d still think it’s gay.
