Eating Whatever I Catch while Pier Fishing for whatever bites! We head out to fishing at the Big Saltwater Fishing Pier for the first time in a while! The weather is starting to warm up, the water is starting to warm up, hopefully the fishing is starting to heat up! What kind of fish would be around the saltwater pier during this time of year?? We attempt to catch clean and cook whatever we hook into.. I did not expect for this to happen.. all out pier fishing madness!

If I were to give you any tips for damn, you want at least 50 pound leader. Except when you're at junior beach, you want 80 Whisper conventional rod juno beach If you're In Sebastian inlet. You should use spinning. A very heavy spinning.

one more thing use a 4 or 5o hook
You da man for hooking that guy up with the lure. That's what pier fishing is all about. It's like a community out there. Good on you bro.
I feel like you being nice and friendly with other fishermen shows the younger/new fishermen how to act and how to be a great example

Good karma too never fails
Awesome day on the pier Mike..Great lookin Blues and Spanish Mackerels...nice showin the love and giving one of your baits to a fellow fisherman so he could enjoy the fun bite!!
Thank you first state for being a good guy. All these other KZreadrs are literally posting highlights reels. Thank you.😊
Good on you! I used to fish on piers a lot. Whenever I saw someone that was not catching fish or needed a little help or tackle, I would always try to get them set up. I love helping other people catch fish as much as I like catching them.
What you did for that old guy was really nice
Loved the shot of walking up the pier picking up the sounds and conversations, piers are always lively which makes them fun. Great vid man, looked like some fun fishing!
Love coming home from work and watching a new video! Would be interested in seeing a video about trying out different seafood recipes (possibly from restaurants?). Love the videos
So dope seeing the transition of seasons 🙌 we gonna be on em this spring/summer
Great day on the pier. Classy move sharing the knowledge and giving away the hot lure. Awesome. Epoxy jigs!
You and another youtuber has made me want to just document my fishing adventures even if i dont upload i would probably get a few months worth of footage and learn to edit, but love how you go from fresh water to salt glad to see you can use your kyak again i just threw out my shoulder with mine
Need tungsten/carbide drill bits to go through the metal easily. I make these all the time for bass fishing. I usually grind down the sides to make them a little narrower. I also paint them to get different colors and patterns on the spoon. Fun making your own lures.
It was great running into you! I recommend fileting them there at the pier and throwing the discards away back into the ocean. Makes for an easy cleanup and less mess in your place and its good for the whole ecosystem.
First time fishing out in the pier tomorrow. Dont know why but this video actually made me really excited!
Definitely love so plug fishing.
This time of year being from Delaware real soon you need to be weak fishing around the rocks with bloodworms and or night crawlers yes nightcrawlers. You add a little shredder crab oil once in awhile to the baits and float fish yup under a bobber . Please do a video ..
First state is always the top video when I open KZread and it’s always the first video I click. Hope to fish with him some day 💪🏽 fished Georgia bass tourneys All my life would like to get into some salty Fishin.
Whoooa Mike opening with the rhymes.
That's a fairly decent catch of spanish macks, nice day out! Tight lines to ya as always mate
Been bingeing your saltwater videos, lately!
Awesome video bro. I'm in the galveston/Houston TX area and havent caught a Spanish mackerel yet. Definitely need to get out to the jetty or peir soon and get on them
lets gooo pier fishing!!
Great meeting you! I love the content bro keep it up!
I'll be down your way from Indiana next week hitting up the pier and St Andrews. Hope to see you out there!

I actually love the fishy flavour mackerel has
dude this looked like so much fun
First state needs to do a offshore fishing vid
It is so cool to see you on the pier again , man I love your vids and in my country South Africa we call bluefish shad they are very tasty fish
I’ll be in Panama City beach next week . Last year same time the Spanish Macks were just crushing anything shiny.
makes me want summer even more, we start getting macerel here by the end of may
What a difference a week makes. Was just out there last week in the catching a bunch of Blues….very few Spanish getting pulled in and only right around sunset.
Target some snook, I know they are in season right now, but it would pretty cool to see you catch a big one
Great video, nice of you 👍 to give that guy one of your lures 😊
Got my first order of Static... 🔥🔥🔥
Bro cast that spoon as far as you can and reel it in as fast as you can for Spanish

Exactly you’re just gonna get blues
Soak you bluefish and Spanish fillets in milk for about 45min. It pulls a lot of the fishy taste out.
try the skyway at the end of the Pier trust me u won’t be disappointed🤟
We were catching speckled trout on those gacha plugs here in louisiana its soo good
LOVE THE OCEAN VIDS!!

Stopping by to show some ❤
It is a very interesting place to fishing and relaxing!!😍
Man these Spanish and blues have been going off for a while, since this spring weather came in they’ve been all over and should be here till late summer
Love the content bro but lucky you’re in FL. In Mass they hate lines crossing it’s almost personal for some
That was insane 😮😮😮😮
Try the ES casting metals i think you may end up liking them better than gotcha plugs
Nice mackerels!
Congrats on getting revenge on the Spanish mackerel. First sheepshead, now them. Can someone say ‘ Tarpon ‘? 😂 great sharing the lure as well. Good karma!
WoW, You Caught A Bunch Of Fish 😊
i fish the peirs in fl all the tim ei mainly target king makeral so much fun u should try
Bro I didn't know I was showing off in front of a KZreadr. Stealth Sniper guy.
Another awesome video! When are you gonna fish at ponds again?!?!?!?
Love your channel
calm down. You got us use to all day of fishing and one sheepshead, raise the bar too much we'll be expecting days like this more often lol.
Fun fact: A single Spanish female Mackerels can lay anywhere between 250k for small to 3mill for large ones eggs at one time. Just a fun fact.
What type of rod are you using?
Love the part where you give him a lure sharing is caring
Not the earliest but still made it always a W vid
I been getting in watching your videos
bluefish buffet

Those treble hooks on you got your plug are getting you dinner
Lets give first state 10k likes then u must come to south africa 4 shark from surf where it can take u 3 t 4 hours to land a shark
What pier is this at
Would be fun to catch a Goliath grouper off the pier. Then having to try and cook it 😁
wow!
What lure are you using in the thumbnail?
Spanish like a fast moving bait . Your retrieve the next day was much better Wait until you get some 19-20 inch mackerel then you will feel some power.
Is this in Delaware?
I’m going back home now and I have some fish in the back
I am a Spanish mackerel.😂
Spanish mackeral is good for the crab trap.
Was this at Cedar Beach in Long Island?
Like how you just talking fish no politics just talking fishing
Did you bleed them?
Without watching any yet. I'm saying mackerel, jacks and blues are about the only thing hitting a gotcha around here
Smash the barbs on the hooks less damage to the fish and easy ish removal hopefully it helps work's
@FirstStateFishing there is Spanish at Jax pier?
@gtowned

Yes last week for sure
The bluefish down south are small.... Not like bluefish up here in Jersey and Delaware we have big bluefish up north
I love your videos

Thanks for watchin em!
I got a question does that fish have scales? And your a great fisher
Are you in Jax Beach?
what rod and reels do you use?
What do you do if there worms in it do you still eat it or throw it awaw
Is that down in Orange Beach?
Mackerel is really best as sushi / sashimi or ceviche imo. The more cooked it is the more fishy. Not that it’s not good cooked, but that’s not how I prefer it.
Try a bubble rig some time 👍
I always wondered how a lindy rig would do.in the ocean
Gotcha plug is the best use green head
spanish is good in ceviche
26:13 my fave 😋
I'm new to the channel. Do you live in Florida or do you just travel around for KZread in the Trailer?
Beautiful location. But where was it?
Try a spec rig but put it on a heavier line
As I get older, I always bring extra if anyone needs I can't take knowledge or my stuff with me.
What a beautiful day! Fan fest video!
