This KM-2296 looks extremely well built. I like the size of the motor and the padding around it. Also, the circuit board and wiring look well laid out. The battery is also 2500mAh which is great. I was thinking about going with the KM-1856 for the same price but I like the solid, simplicity of the KM-2296.

If I get these, what blade should i put on it? Gamma?

Nice inside bro. I just dont like the square type motor. They dont last longer. The brush is thin plate unlike cylinder motors.

2296 = clipper (fading, blending etc), 2299 = trimmer (clean lines)

Body is the same but this Kemei got brush motor and Lence got brushless motor...but they are the same

2600 is almost a part for part with wahl. I have the new model with a square motor. Different connector than wahl but it's still plug and play

I wonder if I can buy an extended life battery and solder it on. Wahl batteries always have the wire attached with the connector on the end.

you can buy the 18650 battery you want to upgrade this one and do a replacement. Needs special care to solder it good. Maybe an electrician to have it done @@smidc
