Looks amazing, I defenitely want to see some different colored speedshaoes with this pearl though, to see what it would look like with black, white as a comparison/baseline and then crazy colors like pink or, idk, neon yellow or something crazy like that

As a self-diagnosed HOLO ADDICT this checked all my boxes! We call this a linear holo, that shows ribbons of rainbow. My personal favorite. This will look amazing over any color base really. FOr me this was Chefs Kiss! My only minor critique, is my personal preferene would be on a blue, green, violet shifting base instead. But again minor. Just blown away with this!

I love holographic shifts! In the nail polish world we call "holographic pearl" "linear holographic"; I have like 20 different shades of linear holographic nail polish. I used to beg my dad's friend who builds custom cars to do holographic effects on a car but the pigment was really expensive back then (early 2000s)

this one has to be my fav so far, love how the hues play off the different angles and that salmon pink undertone makes the holo jump right out, great job guys.

I think this one would be a great one to do speed shapes with to check other colors for another full scale. Turned out amazing almost like a thermal paint job.

@@dipyourcar instead of separate videos with various speed shapes, maybe do a combo for each video where you have the car being the primary focus but spray a couple speed shapes as an option to let people see what each color of the week would look like over other colors. The paint is already in the gun and the optional speed shapes could be shown in the outro like the outtakes used to be..

This is amazing. We definitely need to see this on a variety of base colors on the speed shapes. I want to see it on anthracite gray, on a blue base, and i want to see what it would do on a white base. Yellow too. Every color!!!!

This is a 10 outta 5. This is hands down the best unique color I've ever seen on a vehicle to date. I'm blown away. I would love to see this on definitely color bases to see the difference between them. Incredible project

Agreed, this looks stunning. Im not a fan of flashy paint jobs, but this is equally eye-catching as it is elegant.

I'd like to see this on all the bases lol. white, black, silver, gold, PASTELS, blue-purple, black cherry, root beer, green apple... this is the best I've seen you do yet and I've watched them all. MAYBE you could do an episode off a bunch of these on those little bumpy models you have or maybe a series of hoods? Not as rewarding as the whole cars but you could cover a lot of ground in one video. Then again, you may wish to stretch this one out over many episodes, it's guaranteed to be popular. You could take all the colour suggestions and put them in a fishbowl and surprise pick for the following episode! 🤔👍😁

Gotta say, this is probably one of the most incredible looking color schemes I've seen!

10 out of 5! Solid coverage, beautiful rainbow effect. Very nice. Wish I had it on my car.😂

I absolutely want to see this over more colors and shifts. Would love to see it on some sort of shift with greens and purples and blues.

That holographic pearl is a game-changer for sure. The fact that the base coat still has its color shift abilities and the holographic still shines is just, well, mind blowing.

This looks outstanding. It would be cool to see this on top of the blackest black undercoat. Surely the darker color contrasting against the holographic perl will really make it pop.

Definitely 5! Wow, I'm in awe, literally, eyes wide open, mouth open, a little drool. 😮 It just seems to me like a perfect match between trippie and classy, sweeet.

Good call on the hyper shift base. The holographic effect would be higher contrast over black, but this shows what the pigment can do when it blends more with the base, it really is something special. Adding my vote to find *some* way to show this over lots of different bases, and specifically a purple of some kind.

You've gotta film this in 3D VR! (180 degrees side-by-side.) That subtle difference in the colors hitting each eye with the stereo effect is unlike anything you'll capture on a flat camera.

Simply beautiful. Not really into cars, but I love art and beauty, and this composition is honestly gorgeous

Looks so sick, personally I wish it didn't have the graininess up close, but I understand that's what creates the effect. I could see others who might actually like this added texture too.

I think what's most impressive about it is the speed of color change depending on the angles, you don't have to move very much at all to get a difference in effect, there is for sure something going on in how these two materials are interacting.

Reminds me of how certain colorful insects look. Very cool.

That is indeed insane! Looks great! I think the only thing that could maybe make it look even better is for tinted tail lights, a more intense black front grill and maybe the emblem done the same colour as the car.

Honestly, would love to see this on the sample molds over a spectrum of the hypershifts! It would be AWESOME to essentially see a pallet of combinations - like I'm REALLY tempted to save up money just to do a holo treatment on my own car, but I'd want to see what it might look like first. 😅 Linear holos like this can vary WILDLY in visual effect over different colors - the hypershifts especially. Of course you're gonna get the normal rainbow banding shimmer no matter what, but the vibe changes completely when spread over cooler or warmer spectrums because of which colors underneath are either highlighting/strengthening or contrasting the rainbow effect on top. Like in the video, the warmer spectrum was highlighted more because of the warmer base shift - its like its an orange-dominant rainbow. The rainbow is still there, but you're getting stronger warm hues and accented, contrasting cool hues. *So seeing it sampled across a spectrum of hypershifts would be SUPER COOL* , creative, unique, & be really nice and convenient for people (like me 😭) who are considering layering the holo over something interesting - aaand not wanting to feel like they've wasted their money because the color profile wasn't the one they intended 😅

I've been watching, and responding to your vids for many years. IMPO, this is the best looking combo I've ever seen ! For me to give it a 5, would be an understatement. Id be interested in seeing this same Holographic pearl, over some different color hyper shifts. Obviously the concept works fantastically, as proven here. So I'd really like to see some color variations :)

As still an artist at heart, and having had 2 intentional Art Cars over the previous decades, I've thus been seeking, and window shopping, for the past 10 or so years, to take any such exterior car painting to the next level... Thousands and upon thousands of example pictures later since, THIS VIDEO HAS JUST NOW OFFICIALLY SHOWN ME the very first YES PLEASE!, in way of achieving what I've been looking to create... **THIS IS IT!!!*** THANK YOU SO MUCH for both this informational video, as well as the (rightly!) shared enthusiasm about this phenomenal discovery!!

That base color makes this POP!

That's a much cooler effect than I expected. It almost looks like video compression artifacts or a crazy filter. I'd really like to see it on one of the more blue hypershifts.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Reminds me of some early PC racing games, before dedicated graphics cards were a thing, when windows would glitch the graphics colors to maintain frame rate.

This on a purple or blue color shift would look absolutely sick

This has to be one of the coolest projects ever. When you were mixing it and seeing black with the grays, then seeing it on the car, it's just jaw dropping.. The holographic colors do this car great justice. Now I want to see this over a cobalt blue!! Fantastic!! 5 plus on this one.

There's no way you can rate this combo... That is the craziest thing I have ever seen. Love it! Rate : 5 for the final effects. Would love to see it over a darker colored hyper shift car (dark cobalt blue, black, or dark purple) so you don’t end up with a copper looking base but still get the really cool effects.

This one gets 10/10. Never seen anything like it before. Truly amazing imo. Would love to see it over other colours, maybe a purple or a blue.

The pastel-esque look it has from some angles is really nice

im not into cars or painting but this is fun to watch. it also amaze me how thin and watery the actual paint rly is every time you swirl it with the stick it looks like liquid vervet
