RANDY BOI lol this place is just great if you hide it away and if you ever lose your home or youre kicked out, or need to isolate yourself, itd be great. I bet you could use the same design but make it on a larger scale, twice the height and twice the radius, two stories and you basically have a studio/1bed apt. Imagine installing this in a neighbourhood where you buy a very small plot of land, and with extra private automatic window blinds, would be amazing

J. Johnson I'm really curious to see someone build this with the rest of a house below it. With this building coming out of the middle of a ground level, you could have a very spacious bedroom/office area up top, kitchen and bathroom on the ground for easier utilities. You'd have plenty of room and still maintain a very, very small footprint.

Totally inspired design - the panoramic views are so epic. The whole time they were on the roof though I was thinking - this dude needs to put up some railings! My other question is how the heck he got the materials upright like that - he must have needed a crane. My next question is if he plans on moving, how will he transport the top? Does it disconnect in pieces? I'd love to know more about that design, but it's really an awesome space.

If you cannot see this creative and physical talent from a young chap who although an engineer is not an architect. It was obvious his project was still a work in progress. He should cover the top and bottom of the sphere with glass like the middle so that it's truly a sphere. He could turn those into other rooms like kitchens or bathrooms. Very cool man cave! He's clearly very smart

That's so AMAZINGLY cool so brilliantly done....

I loved the Zombie Lockdown feature. From the moment I first saw that place on the video I was thinking... Zombie Proof ! Get a few of those together and some bridges between them and you could live up there and pop a cap in passing zombies for entertainment

The-Toy-Guy Waste space? The structure only takes up about 3 feet because the rest is in the air. It's not like he went into a forest, cut down a bunch of trees and built a massive useless structure. He built something innovative and cool. Personally I enjoy camping too, but it's not for everyone.

This is a cool house. My #1 "dream" home is the house that Tom Cruise lived in in the movie Oblivion. That was one of the coolest houses ever created/thought of for a movie. Especially with that Plexiglas pool suspended underneath the home.
