on the topic of "back in the day" for hunt, I remember when choke bombs used to be a single consumable that nobody took, or even before that when quartermaster let you take up to 2 full size weapons. Or when Bulwark didnt nerf bomblance harpoons specifically and was just all damage (kinda) as a whole from just 1 tapping you from full hp. Weird times

"good" old times when you started with only 100hp try to rat your way throu the fisrt match getting 150hp+quarter for Winnie+Double barrel. Handcannons where single slot only and you could not resupply consumables and tools :D

I think getting headshot by dualies from more than 10 meters is a super feel bad moment in this game 😅 Looking forward to the winnie prestige!

I remember a time when my buddy and I were running around commenting on the fact that there weren't any enemies in the water to be concerned with. We always imagined crocodiles would be added as a deterrent in the water but the sea devils were a fine choice as well.

I don't remember an exact date for when I first started playing, but back then there were only the spider and butcher bosses, no events had happened yet, and stuff was really expensive all around. I remember having to rely on free hunters constantly.

Winfield for sure! Gun is so much fun and cheap to boot plus lots of variants to help out in most situations love the talon.

I played hunt back in 2020. Had just built my new pc and a mate showed me the game and I was hooked.

Loving Winfield (C or Full) with High Velocity and a saber right now, it's got all ranges covered.

Oooooof that headshot on the mountain man when he thought you were dead dead was nasty... And to answer your question, imo Winnie is one of the most all-around and valuable guns in the game. Easy to use, easy to resupply, plenty of options to use it close, mid or long-ish range, variety of ammo types, different gun variants, and it's never too expensive... what's not to like ? Plus, it's really iconic of the era and stylish, which give you extra style points when you use it And to answer your other question, I started playing Hunt when it was still in early access. I also miss the old water devils 😢

dual pax is op. I run it as a rifle secondary all the time. they are by far the best dualies. fmj pax dualies are wallbang machines as well.

I recently got my brother into Hunt right towards the end of the last event and he really would like the plague doctor and the Wayward Helmsman to return

I bought Hunt and started playing February of 2018.

Limited Time Hunter: I want to have the pest doctor back. I didn't play back when the event of that happened and it had SO MANY cool skins. I could kick myself for not starting to play a few months earlier. Also, that accuracy in the beginning of the second game is absolutely disgusting, good sir.

thoughts on the winnie: one of my favorite weapons combined with a handcrossbow with firebolts. always fun to play. aperture variant and levering prepares you for basically any ranges.

I would love to see Lulu, or The Plague Dr, brought back; but!, I'm also okay that there are skins I *can't* get anymore, that I wasn't around for. Gotta admit, dualies are crazy accurate xD I have landed so many bullshit headshots from 20+ meters with them, I think they need a nerf.

Dual crossbow with dual sparks is the best
