I have one of those drain snakes they'd be handy for unblock I'd say, use them for sinks and the likes, you push in and spin the handle and it shouthen unblock

I pulled out a 6ft sausage of mud out of one before 😂

Be handy to keep a couple of drain ros in van. Great work guys 👍

I have this exact issue and still havnt sorted it 😅

I used to work for Anglian and the ones on tools were told specifically told to fit poorly designed gutters and facias so we could go around and replace them every couple of years .

In my house I use a drain rod from the top, not a pry bar from the bottom. Then what do I know, im not a professional.

This is typical oh the UK. No maintenance costs more

also builders use long screws to put the downpipe together trapping stuff

They need new gutters. They should add a screen on top to prevent them from ever clogging up again. That is what we have. The gutters never clog up and when it rains it the water never backs up.

No that's just general moss and dirt build up caught in the down pipe, its probably from all the dried dirt and moss during the summer months causing a back log towards the winter when we tend to have more rain and all the trees have also shed their leaves too which don't help
