i like that this was actually a good play and not just a flex. he went for a dodge into a hit but decided to do it with a fancy flip which confused the other guy, he was so amazed he barely tried to catch it. had he just done a normal dodge the other guy might have gotten away but with that he guaranteed a hit

he also predicted the timing of the opponents shot by reading his movement and baiting him with the large wind-up. doing the flip changes the hitbox dramatically, thus ensuring that the opponent will have aimed incorrectly upon releasing his attack.

I used to do flips/tricking back then, and I remember wanting to try this after seeing the clip. So I tried this when we were playing dodgeball at school and still got hit mid-air even though I landed. Lol You could either embarrass yourself or be the dope lad when doing something like this. That said, I applaud the guy for doing it so smoothly.
