You see it all the time. Many of these same techniques are used in Judo. And what's your point in the quotation marks? The samurai used this in wartime and this is taught to cops so obviously it works

lets see an mma "fighter" against any wrestler. he got no change. does that mean that mma is bullshido? of course not. its just you are comparing a competetive SPORT (mma) with a non competetive BUDO.
