Can also use LB,X. Still working as of 6/16/24 and is better than the current credit mods. I make a ship with the minimum requirements and a connection piece to one side. I then build a "cargo" pile of the most expensive stuff and weapons. After duplication, I sell the connection piece on the "cargo" ship then select all the "cargo" and sell it. Or just sell what I need to get my credits back from the vendor.

Hi i find it easier on credits to use the em weapons on pirate ships they only cost around 10000 to register and use then to dupe my ship

Didn't work for me. When I duped a ship, it erased my regular one. And it wanted me to register the duped ship before I could sell it.

@@2SmokinBarrels Ah right. Yeah, no dev console on xbox, which is a pity since so many things are bugged rn such as outpost crew skills. Even with Heller having outpost engineering to 3 I can't build complex outpost structures, so the dev console is useful to add 3 points to outpost engineering as I would always have Heller on an outpost I'm building.

you need the matching skill for them to work. so you need outpost 3 for hellers bonus

@@2SmokinBarrels Having outpost engineering 3 would make Heller's bonus useless, since his skill is outpost engineering 3. Outpost engineering simply allows you to build better outpost structures and NPCs cannot do this. Having the skill to level 1 doesn't do anything, there's an article by forbes which states this is the case, but given my testing (both using player.addperk (which adds the perk itself) and player.modav experience 20000 (which ads 20k experience) that I used to buy the perk. Neither seem to work, as after adding a research station at the outpost I couldn't research above level 1 outpost engineering. Whereas partner skills which give ship bonuses get applied so long as they're assigned to the ship, regardless of me having the perk. The forbes article also contains multiple other mistakes and errors. Just letting you know as with Xbox, testing this stuff isn't as easy as typing a single line of text, it could take hours and you'd end up being let down. Unless I need to save, reload and do more stuff to get the bonus to apply, which I never bothered testing.
