    The most frightening thing about old cars is the solid 3/4 inch steel shaft that runs from the steering box, often located out front where it will be shoved rearward, to inches from your face.

    People were poorer, fattening food was not as plentiful, people walked more, and you see these people wearing a LOT more clothes than today.

    As if bald tires aren't bad enough, one driver even had chains on his left front wheel of a rear wheel drive at 1:34 but none on the rear drive axle and it looks like the thing slid sideways into a tree???? How on earth did he expect to steer that thing on any kind of slick road surface???
