!! INSANE 10000rpm Corvette GOES HARD !! Onboard Racing Footage & Full Documentary [4K]

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Welcome to another Race Car Feature on this channel.
A few weeks ago I was at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park for the Racing Season Finale.
In the last video from Day 1, I featured the all-new 1969 Mustang driven by Paul Clarke in the Central Muscle Cars Racing Series.
On Day 2 we witness the incredible feats of this racing-oriented, totally hardcore C5 Corvette with mad aero built at Brennan Motorsport and driven by Grant Brennan, here competing in the "Super V8" Racing Series and together with two 2 classes, "TA2 NZ" & "V8 Utes".
This season has being difficult for the Brennan Team, with a few gremlins to sort out between Rounds. Today we find the perfect conditions to see and hear the full potential of this incredible race car. Enjoy this special feature with Race 1 and Race 2, both starting on a Rolling Start basis.
Brennan Motorsport wishes to thank:
Simon Mcbeth from UK
Neil from Geartronics UK
BBS - Germany
BMRS - USA
Goodyear USA
Motec Australia
and all the fans & supporters throughout the years

I used to have a Nissan R32 GTR street car with a racing engine in it. It's great stuff of course until it comes to drivability in traffic and maintenance. You can't have everything and there's always a compromise to be had, in this case I'd rather have a usable cammed LS or similar in a street Z06 and then a Vette racecar for track use only. Cause when you have disposable income you start to enjoying things separately

(Which I think is not bad at all, tbh I think that‘s really smart 👍) Thanks for the great video, I really appreciate it and all the best from Germany 🇩🇪, Philipp 👋 EDIT: And I do apologize in advance for my nonexistent English „skills“ 🫣🥴

Hey Philipp, you're a legend, thanks for your comment. 1) pumping the brakes is quite common in racing. Sometimes a pad pushes the brake pistons back enough so that when you go braking it takes longer distance to push the pedal. 2) up and down shifts on the same paddle shifter is inspired to karts, a very common feature on those vehicles.

I wouldn't be too sure of that actually, V8 Supercars have larger budgets and the backing of OEM constructors. That allows for extremely fine tuning and better parts e.g. magnesium/titanium and alloys. Not to mention the Team behind it too. I'd say V8 Supercars are tougher and perhaps faster but the Brennan C5 Corvette defends itself pretty fairly.
