Firstly we have unsinkable carrier may be you guys don't know about it as you follow "desh bhakt" video, but in many points he is wrong we have "unsinkable carrier" and many under construction. Secondly there is less chance of hitting a aircraft carrier because of there air defence system and an aircraft carrier never travel alone it has it's own strike group. So before hitting an aircraft carrier there is advance destroyer,frigets and submarine deployed there for defence of carrier and lastly an aircraf carrier never a easy target for any kind of hypersonic missiles as it's a moving target for it and carrier can out perform a missile by doing circular manueveration so it's not a halwa ki tum ao aur khake chale jayo

Sir, a small correction regarding the EMALS terminology. EMALS uses Linear Motor instead of Steam catapult. Steam catapult was used in the Nimitz Class carriers and other older us aircraft carriers. Steam from the Engines is used to power a hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder has a hook attached which gets attached to the aircraft front wheel. This hook pulls the aircraft when the hydraulic cylinder is pressurised. The EMALS replaces the hydraulic cylinder with a linear motor. The hook remains as it is and the aircraft is still pulled by the hook. No maglev or levitation is involved here.

I think that if India focus more on submarines rather than a expensive aircraft then that will be beneficial for us, if a expensive aircraft is destroyed then that will harm our navy, but we can make more submarines on that budget and rather than aircraft we should make many artificial islands for military in indian ocean

I have severely criticized politicians and well established Businessmen in India. Kisi ko girana ho toh, use pahle uthana padta hai. Coming to the point, Though the Specifications (DNA) of INS VISHAL are good, I don't think INS Vishal can be useful to India in future, rather you can upgrade INS Vikramaditya. Both INS VIKRAMADITYA and INS VIKRANT can do great job in future for India.

The government must be maintained top secrecy of this kind of project, whose related to national defence.

@@Sachinkumar-jl7kh ya but for those who have lot of subrine and destroyers in their Navy. Indian Navy have very less number of subrine as compared to china who have 60 subrine in his arsenal.

It depends on type of war if you have best fighter jet aircraft carrier will be game changer . India has submarine hunter aircraft

We need atleast 5-6 aircraft carriers to counter China . Sirf Cochin Shipyard pe depend karne se kuch nahi hoga . Baki ke Indian Shipyards ko bhi aise aircraft carriers banane ke liye support karni chahiye. Cochin Shipyard apni aircraft carrier banane ki technology baki ke Indian Shipyards ke sath share karni chahiye
