I've done Innsbruck twice, 1994 and 2005. Both times were in the winter for skiing. It's a great place!

Best landing with a plane (for me) was few Years ago to Innsbruck.. plane did a rare full turn at low altitude between these mountains just to get on a runway from right direction. Captain even announced that maneuver before doing it.. every time when getting at Innsbruck it feels like returning "home". I do call Austria "meine andere Heimat". 🥰 Great walk! Easily could have been hour or more... bonus would have been if those clouds were to pour their content at last minutes of the video; making a different kind of action on the streets. 😉These evening walks are so good with their lights, shades and special atmosphere..

OMG! I am speechless again. What a great place and what a great video. I fell in love with the building on the left 13:15. One of my friends called when I was watching this video and she asked what I was doing. I said "I am walking in Austria" She was in shock for a few seconds and then she said "When did you go there?" Ook hier verscheidene malen geweest. Het oude centrum, met het huis met het gouden dak, is prachtig. Ook langs de Inn is het goed toeven. Ten zuiden van Innsbruck ligt Axamer Lizum. Daar kun je, bij het kabelbaancentrum, met de ene kabelbaan omhoog, via de wandelroute dwars door de bergen naar de andere kant van het dal lopen en daar met de kabelbaan of trein, dat weet ik niet meer, weer naar beneden naar waar je begonnen was. Zelfde gesteente als de Dolemieten.

@@TheFlyingDutchMan8K nog een tip. Het Lötschental in Zwitserland is een prachtig dal. Rij het dal in tot de parkeerplaats en loop dan naar het eind van het dal naar de gletcher als die er nog is tenminste. Bij Zermatt kun je rond met kabelbanen. Eerst naar Klein Matterhorn en bezoek daar de ijswereld in de gletsjer. Dan met de kabelbaan voor de Matterhorn langs en weer terug naar Zermatt. Als dit tenminste nog mogelijk is. Ook met de trein naar Görnergrad is prachtig. Je kunt te voet terug indien je dat wil. Bij Saas Fee eerst omhoog tot halverwege bij de marmotten. Daarna verder omhoog. Er zijn daar verschillende wandelpaden. Grote kans dat je wilde steenbokken tegenkomt.

@@palantir135 Zermatt ben ik al veel geweest ;) zomer en winter , Saas Fee Was ik naar toe gereden maar had erge hoofdpijn ben toen maar weer omgedraaid, , , moet nog een keer terug ;) Lötschental ben ik meerde kregen van Kandersteg geweest met de auto trein ( dal zelf nog niet geweest )

@@TheFlyingDutchMan8K er is nog zo veel te zien in de Alpen. Alle zijdalen van het Inntal in Tirol zijn interessant om te wandelen. Saltzburg en Werfen met de ijsgrot. Grossglocknerstrasse en Grossglockner. Ik was er toen de gletcher nog tot de grote parkeergarage kwam. Bij Sion ligt nog een mooie ruïne . Kans op koningspage, koninginnenpage en bidsprinkhanen.

@@TheFlyingDutchMan8K From Romania, yeah definetly. I would recommend Sibiu for starters. Also, Cluj-Napoca, Oradea. The driving might be horrible though, our country is known for having bad roads sadly.

@@TheFlyingDutchMan8K as far as safety goes I did not hear of problems in Romania about camping. There are even areas specially designated for campers and they have high scores from what I see on the internet. I've personally never done this so I can't say for sure.

Great place. I definitely want to stay there when we go to Europe, daughter and hubby too. At around 14:40 it looks like a hotel, I couldn't read it clearly but it looked like Hoburg? Do you know? That's where we want to stay. It just got better and better. Of all the towns we've seen so far Innsbruck is the winner. How many days do you think it would take to absorb those streets and shops? I know it would take a month or more to eat at all the restaurants I saw. The older I get the more restaurants are becoming a bigger part.

​@@hazyhartman423 It's a Restaurant and a Hotel (Goldener Adler). I would say that you need about 3 days to see everything (on Sundays everything is closed in Austria and Germany).
