Disc review for the Innova Metal Flake Teebird3
This is a stable to overstable fairway driver from Innova Discs. It has the rim size of a Teebird but with a flatter top giving the discs more speed and fade at the end of its flight. If you're looking for a fairway driver that flies straight with a consistent finish at the end of its flight then you should consider trying the Teebird3. The disc used in the video is molded with Innova's Metal Flake Champion plastic. Metal Flake plastic has been known to be more overstable than plain Champion plastic. So if the Metal Flake Teebird3 finishes too hard for you we would recommend finding it in the Champion Plastic.

Love the reviews, the focus on Tour Series discs is awesome. I throw a lot of Tour Series. Great way to support the pros that make the sport what it is. I really like the time you spend on the feel of the disc. It's often overlooked in reviews in favor of how it flies, but it's much harder or impossible to repeat those results if you can't vibe with how a disc feels in your hand. I really liked the profile comparison in this video to the Teebird, it really helpes me gain an understanding of how the Teebird3 would feel. Your field tests are second to none. Follow flights and making sure that the disc is on a dark background from the camera's perspective are hugely helpful in understanding how the disc is actually flying. It's nothing like ripping one yourself, but it's the next best thing. I also liked that you started from the 0 line on the field so we can see the actual distance as well, again super helpful for gauging how much power the thrower is using. Awesome work fellas. Best reviews I've ever seen. Keep it up! Do you have a patreon?

Good stuff as usual guys. I used to have one in my bag, and it was a work horse. I finally got another one, and man I missed that disc. It really fits perfectly between the teebird and the thunderbird.

Great Review, I love the straight ahead shot plus the overhead shot. It really helps put perspective on how I lose sight of a disc here in WV especially throwing the hills, haha. First time tuning in, would love more reviews like this of new and different makes of familiar named discs.

Brian! I know what you mean. WV broke me. I’m a Mass native, so I was not prepared for all the hills and slopes at Dorsey’s Knob in Morgantown. That said, no better hill training than a WV course.

Follow flight was excellent, honestly i'd put the sponsor shoutout at the beginning if it's short enough, pretty cool that they sponsor you. Save up for some nice lighting and try to use manual focus so it catches the disc and not your face, but really great review, telling us what we need to know

Great review, I would have loved it if you compared the flight to a regular Teebird as you compare the shapes, maybe talk a little about the differences.

I have one of those as well! Those Jen Allen color glow teebirds are fiiiiiire. If you were still interested though the metal flake Teebird3 is beefier than them. I'm currently bagging both as well as a standard champ Teebird with some wear and tear on it. The MF TB3 is a great option if you're looking for something that can handle even more power than the Jen Allens.
