How does everyone like the format of this episode? Should we make others like this? Maybe get some of you to show off your collections?

This episode was AWESOME! Would def want to see more episodes like this sprinkled in, and love the idea of bringing on fans of the show/Foundation to show off their collections. It will be interesting to see what people who have been collecting for a long time have, and even people who've been only playing a short time.
Would be sick to have more guests come on the show and share their collections! Also would love to have hunter come back with his discraft and other brand collection!
“I don’t know that I’m the best person to talk about this” - proceeds to bring out a ton of collectible Innova discs in baggies 😂

There are levels to everything. The deeper you get into to something, the more you realize how deep it can go.
I like that y’all went through Hunter’s collection, and he explained each disc he brought. Would love to see further collection episodes maybe even from people outside foundation! Great Job!
Get Barsby…dude has a collection
Just part way in, but this format is so much better for plastic addicts. Not that it is Hunter, but interview/ slash conversation around the discs, rather than monologue.
Keep this format of a guest and their collection!
The Climo earnings is impressive because the money he would win back in the day is peanuts compared to what the pros win now on the DGPT
Actually really enjoyed this format of more of an interview type. Was sweet, nice collection Hunter! A discraft episode would be gnarly.
innova still has insane reach with the older crowd, they don't switch haha

Literally at the shop yesterday and an older guy asked about straight to understable fairway driver and I offered the diamond and F5 and the guy went straight for a DX Beast. Ain’t nothing I could do to talk him out of it.

@@househalftheyear exactly 🤣 no matter what if it would save them money, effort from wearing in new ones, or just plain time, some just prefer dx throwers and 8 destroyers in varying abuse levels
When I lived in Nashville I found a disc mania batwings disc. When I first found it I noticed it had a faded signature that was difficult to read as well as a PDGA number. I thought nothing of it. But a couple months later I looked closer and saw the signature was John McBeth. From what I know he doesn’t sign many peoples discs and he signs his own like the one I found. So it likely could have been his disc when he lived in Nashville. I then got it signed by Paul as well at the Music City Open. Coolest disc I own because of the signature and the batwings
Always entertained by the bubble around younger disc golfers/disc golf media. They're often like, "What's the deal with Innova? No one uses this stuff." Meanwhile Innova is bigger than all the other non-Discraft brands combined.
Dave McCormick the owner of Gateway discs says in a video with Scott Stokely the innova quit using the CE plastic because it took to long to mold and that they are using it now as I believe that plastic supplier was from St. Louis which is where Gateway is located.
I'd love to see more of Hunter's collection. One of my favorite episodes for sure
RE: the quiz. The Aero is not still in production (although the Factory Store occasionally posts a few up for sale), which means that the oldest Innova disc still in production is the Aviar Classic, which is the original Aviar. PDGA approved Jan 1, 1984. The modern Aviar Putt & Approach was introduced 3 years later.
Old Stamp on the yellow Roc is called a bar stamp.
Some cool plastic I would love to see on here is the Streamline discs from MVP. I love the plastic they use and it’s my first dive into MVP.
I don’t currently have any Innova in my bag, but the reason it’s popular imo is because when you walk into any store that sells discs that isn’t a dedicated disc golf store, all the $10 discs are Innova, and you can build a full working bag of base line Innova discs, at least as a beginner/intermediate player. You usually won’t find any Trilogy, MVP, Prodigy, Discmania, etc. discs at that price. Sometimes you’ll find some base line Discraft, but I think that’s a fairly recent change.
gateway has talked about the fast that they are using the blend innova used to use for the diamond plastic
I am somewhat anti Innova but did just buy a Factory second Star TL3 for sentimental sake and this plastic mix is incredible. It's kinda teal swirl and pretty transparent, feels amazing. Similar to Hybrid from Trilogy which is my favorite plastic.
In the 80s I only recall Innova and Millenium discs. Checked up on Millenium says founded -94 but I swear people were throwing PolarisLS back when, maybe it was right around the back end of the first period of playing.
CE plastic was just fazed out because the plastic supplier for innova no longer had the same type of plastic. Then you have the Jolly Roger plastic used in the old JK valkyries and other discs which was made of the leftover stock of CE plastic mixed with the modern champion plastic.

Ive never seen Innova Hype... they have the best reach because they are the most available in brick n mortar stores...
I can’t find this podcast on apple podcasts, am I missing something? Thanks.
WE LIKE HUNTER BRING HIM BACK!
more collections... all the collections. trevor doesnt collect but show what hes still got hanging around it would be neat to see.
Bring hunter back and go find the craziest disc collection in the states.
Aviar, Mako3, Valkyrie, Destroyer... What else do you need?
Collection videos are sweeet
Yea you can NOT find Aeros lol I love those things and they only come around once every now and then
Nates disc was a glow 11X Firebird
Nice 👍🏻
Aeros pop up on the factory store in dx sometimes. Other than that is OOP.
Mamba & tern & Mako3 all you need
I have a DD2 Blizzard, weighs 158 . Thing friggen bombs
European team discmania stamp is just a little smaller font, so you are correct in the blue d-line having the american one

Also, there are 5 runs of CE plastic, so within each run the discs had the same characteristics for the most part, but they had the same run variance that we get now
At 15:40 that’s likely a Roc+.
@GlocalReformission

And the roc at 23:20 seems to be a SuperRoc based on the age. The roc+ was only around 2010ish
No CE Spider? Starfire? Teerex? Teedevil?
One of my favorite discs is a midnight buzzz bottom stamped with gbo stamp I believe it was 2015. don't think there were many made.
Hunter, I would legitimately send you $100 for that compass rose stamp Aviar3… like RIGHT NOW… that thing is a gem 💎 😮💨
My gf loves the cro
Any other Teerex throwers here?
Everyone is throwing the raft?
mommy, why didn't you let me play sports like the other boys when I was a kid? Can I have more cake?
You really don’t seem to know much about CE plastic and Innova but still give misinformation.
Dave McCormick the owner of Gateway discs says in a video with Scott Stokely the innova quit using the CE plastic because it took to long to mold and that they are using it now as I believe that plastic supplier was from St. Louis which is where Gateway is located.
