Let Ben White take you through a brief explanation of what you would be able to see inside a dual circuit water chiller from S&A Teyu, if it had it's casing removed.
A water chiller is used to manage the temperature of any tooling machine. Instead of using a bucket and pond pump, like a few people have been reported doing, these reliable water chillers can be linked up to a laser engraving machine to manage the tooling machines temperature ensuring it will not over heat.
Correctly distilled water should be used in the water tank and topped up over time to keep the chiller running perfectly.

Are you sure that is what the bypass solenoid is for? S&A have a video guide on how to replace the heaters on the models fitted with them. It's basically an aquarium heater fitted where the blanking plug is on the tank.
Can it use for aquarium?
What size are the barb fittings?
Can the chiller be modified so that the chilling process can be managed manually via a switch rather than a thermostat? Using one with a laser engraver would benefit being able to use the pump alone while the water temp increases and then when the laser is not being used, turning on the chiller to cool the water back down inbetween jobs. Im finding that the chiller constantly turning on and off to maintain temperature is causing power fluctuations that show up in engraved images

Unfortunately, we don't offer this as an upgrade I'm afraid.
Do you think that a 5200 could be modified to function like a 5202?
How ingenious to derive the high pressure tube to use as a heater, a pity that it is not well appreciated how it is made. What is the capacity of the water tank and what is the flow of this chiler? Good job, thanks.

Would this be suitable for running 2x 60w laser engravers? seems a more economical solution than two seperate cw-5000's ... I'm tired of putting ice in buckets for my machines :)

Yes, this chiller can handle 2 x 60w lasers.
Can this direct cool water to a cooling coil for a mini AHU to get blown cool air inside a cabin

To answer your question, there are many factors that we need to consider. Such as total cooling duty (KW) for the AHU? How many units do you have? How long will the pipe run be as the chiller spec will affect the water flow rate, affecting efficiency? These sized chillers haven't got the correct specification for your AHU, we think...
Could this handle a rotary evaporator bath temp at 50C, so chiller would need to maintain 14C or lower for say 3 hours or so.

We've been in touch with S&A and their response to your question was that NTC thermistors are used.
