InMoov on legs first 3D printed robot OpenSource

Ғылым және технология

Video 50: InMoov standing on legs with Demonstration of ProgramAB within MyRobotLab.
Gael Langevin is a French modelmaker and sculptor.
InMoov is his personal project, it was initiated in January 2012
InMoov is the first Open Source (CC-BY-NC) 3D printed life-size humanoid robot.
Replicable on any home 3D printer with a 12cm3 area, it is conceived as a development platform for Universities, Laboratories, Hobbyist, but first of all for Makers.
It’s concept, based on sharing and community, gives him the honor to be reproduced for countless projects through out the world.

    It seems to me the next big step for this robot isn't walking legs, but moving away from piggybacking off the Alice 2.0 AI and connecting to Internet to communicate, but instead have a fully dedicated system by itself. Download its own AI systems (there are plenty of people who would help design it) and have it process it by itself. Instead of a tablet, put an i7 cpu with some ram and SSD's and such. Essentially make a small form factor pc inside the robot powerful enough to run all the algorithms to follow commands, process visual data, and copy movements. Make it more user friendly. The tablet in the back is just messy. Have its own dedicated microphone and speaker system too, much better quality.

    i have an idea why dont you have a flash-drive bank for memory so that the robot can process data that it saves throughout the day that way it can have an expandable memory and if what ive learned from working with computers is anything its that more memory means faster processing faster processing =more realistic timing and a smarter robot overall. just a thought.

  • @hairygael

    @hairygael

    7 жыл бұрын

    What is learned is stored into the memory as AIML files and MP3 audiofiles. But any new inquiries ask for an internet process which can be slow if the connection is bad. I was using the 3g on my phone for the wifi connection, which is the reason of slow responsive AI. But we want to have a system with delay, if new inquiries takes more than x seconds, the AI will use what is already stored in its memory.

    you chould automate the face recognition by what you do manual to classify faces by program an small program that uses some object tracking by ultrasonic transducers to determine that the robots camera is in front of a unclassified object or person before a automated instruction to activate the program that classify a single face before it saves the entry and fill in just a random number to the name. you can use the sound recognizer to determine of let the machine find out the name of the random person and then adress that name to the random number given to the classifier by making a name equal number command instruction. this way the machine could classify people or objects by itself. alternativly use the pretrained objects to determine point of capture of new objects and then narrow down the screen of the camery by excluding the part it already recognize from the picture so that only the new part is ready for classification. by repeat such a process automatically the robot chould build a record of tousands of new object over time given random numbers as classifications. the robot only need to use the sound detection to determine name of object. let say that you have the hand of a person classifed already pointing toward a object auto classified by random number and a confirmation by user input by voice to tell the robot to label the random number of a certain image object in the network with the name of the of what the object was called. the robot only need to interprate the pointing finger as a gesture like a arrow for direction and you could in a sense teach it the real names of object classified before or you could make the robot pick these thing up by itself by a little bit of guessing. someone else would probably label objects out loud by example a person holding a object and as long as the machine already recognized its a human holding a object with a random number if the the person speak of the actual object the computer could be able by distinguish by language and conversation itself be able to exclude the word of the actual object from the rest of the information and adress it as the real name for the random number given by the classifier. this way the robot could learn by itself over time without spoon feeding it. the more objects it have classified the more information can be removed from the camera image to distinguish unkown object from known object adding to the network.

    Tenho algumas idéias para fazer uma programação orientada a instintos. Pensei numa forma de podermos programar instintos e fazer com que robôs tivessem vontade propria, procurando atender a seus desejos instintivos pre programados. A idéia seria criar um algoritmo onde os vários instintos fossem aumentados em sua prioridade com o tempo em pesos diferentes, e o robô procurasse então priorizar o instinto A ou B com alguma tarefa a ser realizada, se o instinto tivesse uma maior pontuação de prioridade. Ao realizar a tarefa a prioridade do instinto atendido seria diminuida. Ele iria constantemente analisar o meio tentando indentificar objetos e as formas possíveis de se atender ao instinto A ou B. Suas ações iriam então a depender do meio, de seus instintos e de sua análise do ambiente em seu mapa mental digital, procurando atender ao instinto de maior prioridade da vez, uma análise posterior iria fazer com que ele percebesse o meio e identificasse se atendeu ou não o instinto com os passos auto programados, se não, iria procurar atender outro instinto ou procurar um novo sequenciamento de tarefas, possíveis para assim tentar novamente a tender o instinto prioritário. Para sequenciar ações com o objetivo de atender seus intintos, ele iria fazer varias simulações em seu mapa mental , em um processo de tentativa e erro e seleção natural dos sequenciamentos de ações que funcionam ( aprendizado / criatividade ). Com esta metodologia de programação iria ser possivel criar instintos conflitantes e fazer com que o robô tivesse uma complexidade maior de tomada de decisão que iria parecer que ele tem vontade própria, como ocorre com o ser humano, porque iria agir de formas inesperadas conforme o meio que encontrasse e percebesse com seus sensores e conforme o que aprendeu em suas experiências, que seria a comparação do que foi planejado e o resultado obtidos percebido. exemplo de instintos simples: - buscar pela luz - analisar objetos e classifica los - curiosidade, tentar mapear outras áreas. - medo , se afastar de objetos desconhecidos que se movam - fome , busca por energia - dor , fuga de ambientes nocivos ao sistema, temperatura, frio, sobre tensão dos motores - amor , identificar objetos/sujeitos que deve cuidar e atender ordens - confiança, tendencia de repetir o que funciona ou ter menos medo de sujeitos novos identificados que não oferecem perigo com o tempo. entre vários outros institos que podem vir a ser similares aos humanos ou totalmente diferentes. O robo iria mapear espaços e classificar objetos, sujeitos para o robo, seriam objetos capazes de se mover ou realizar alterações no espaço percebido.

    This map already shows alot: inmoov.fr/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Map-ConnectionsV1-719x1024.jpg For sure another map for the power wires would be good. But we are currently creating a board for to route all powering, therefore we will also create a map
