Inline Fabrication Ultramount Quick Detach System

Спорт

The Inline Fabrication Ultramount quick-detach setup is the best system for managing the devices you want to attach to your loading bench that we have ever used. We have used countless systems prior to this, but thanks to Inline Fab, we are finally happy with the way our benches are setup! Have a look at the video for a demonstration of it's versatility.

This was referred by Jackson Malcomb. He did the same thing for his bench! Great job Primal. My stuff arrives Monday. I was going to have Dan make a custom plate for my vice and it had been 3 days and had not shipped and he was waiting for the shop to drill 4 holes-I changed my order and got the blank plate without the holes, then i saw a blank plate in your video and realized they would have drill holes for Flathead SCREWS and provided the screws and nuts- I guess. So now I have to drill holes. I have a drill press. How did you drill your holes to accommodate the flathead screws for 1/4-20

Thanks for this helpful video. I want to use the flush mount plate myself and stumbled into your video when I was looking to see if anyone had recessed it into their bench like you did with no cantilever on the front. Yours is the EXACT set up I was hoping to see. Any chance you did a video on routing the recess out of the bench top for the mounting plate? I'm trying to think of the best way to do so and have a very nice butcher block top that I am reticent to screw up.

No video on it, but I made a router guide out of plywood, clamped it to the bench, started in the middle, and routed out to the edges.

AWESOME!! Just discovered this system today and bought that YOST 750-E yesterday. Do you happen to remember the pattern/sizing for that bench vise?

Do you have a link to the long nuts that you use? I would like to use the flush mount the same way you did, but could not figure out how to secure the "wing-nuts" below the table. Thanks!

Since I don't have access to a lathe, could I pay you to make up 4 of those nuts for me? I'm sure they would work as full-length hex, but the turned-down nuts look nicer.

I realize this is a comment from 4 years ago but in case anyone new stumbles into the thread, I thought I'd share what I recently did instead. I don't have a lathe either but McMaster -Carr also sells round "standoffs" threaded at 1/4"-20 on both ends. I bought 2" long standoffs and a couple of their threaded stud knobs and used red loctite to secure the knobs on one end. They work beautifully and provide an elegant solution with little work.

@@highcountryhunter7703 Well mine arrives Monday and I will find some of those stand-offs ( look like turn buckle hardware) and some threaded rod and fashion something that will work. perhaps there could be some welding involved!!!! The material i have to drill through is 2x6 which is what the front of my bench is.
