    Nice video, Franklin. More than that is your humble presentation style, which is pleasant to the viewer. And most of all is your honesty and integrity in admitting the mistake instead of covering up (which is found out eventually). This way, we (the viewers) also learn from the experience just like you did. Thumbs up for the whole thing.

    As I have said earlier, I realize now that the music was too loud. However, I'm not going to take down the video because the music is too loud. The content is still valuable. I put music in my videos because it is a passion of mine. All of the music in my videos is either written and recorded by me or my son. So the music is part of the deal.

  • @FranklinWoodWorks2016

    @FranklinWoodWorks2016

    7 жыл бұрын

    +CommanderBubba Ah, the music. If you watched to the end of the video, you saw that I was actually playing the music. It is one of my passions, and the one that is most important to me. Just like creating a woodworking project, creating music takes careful planning, design, style, and an overall vision for the end product. Each piece must fit together smoothly, and in the creation process, mistakes are made, pieces go in the trash, and pieces are remade until they fit. Unlike woodworking, after the work is done, not only can I sit back and admire the work, but I can relive it again and again by simply picking up a guitar and playing that which I have created. I understand that the music is not for everyone, but neither is my channel. I made this channel for my own satisfaction, not to please the masses, which I'm sure is obvious. It gives me great joy to do this, and fortunately there are a few others out there that enjoy it also. Thank you for watching the video, and I hope that you will continue to follow the channel.

    Didn't mean to hurt your feelings, but you answered with class and seem to take it in stride. Might have liked the music 40-50 years ago but at 72 it was a bit much when all I was looking for was wood working.

    +CommanderBubba No offense taken! I get it a lot. I really do appreciate you watching though. Maybe you could just turn off the sound? My kids think I'm too old for the music too, but having just turned 50, I grew up with Van Halen and AC/DC, so I guess I'm a product of my environment.

    - I love creativity; this was very creative, stunningly so BUT the background music was annoying to say the least. The piece had a bit of femininity to it; the music was "rut gutter" hard core. Uggh. It nearly drowned your voice out.
