How will it hold up to gun cleaning oil, etc....should it be clear-coated?

how long does it last?

It looks like plastisol printer ink but not certain.

I wonder how the inking stands up to handling, carrying, and shooting. Wonder if cleaning after shooting is a major concern too.

Knowing how expensive and long the engraving process is, I’d be terrified of ever firing the gun lol it’d be sitting in a glass cabinet somewhere in my house

sorry, I watched it a few times. I think you said "offset printers ink". I'll try yo find some of that.

Couldn't you mask the areas you don't want inked with some rubber cement? Rubs off easily afterwards.

ok 2 questions 1 - How long to you leave the item under 225? 2 - What do you do if the gun is black?

Doesn’t the gun need to be blued / not dyed?

non si capisce la prima parte ma comunque dice "printers ink", ovvero l'inchiostro usato per le stampe a pressione, con lastre di metallo.

Why not mask it first and save yourself the hassle
