Makes sense to not give Batman control over the kill switch. He both already has his own plan and regularly goes up against a villain who fucks with peoples' heads.

They should've also given it to Batman making it the 6 of them being able to activate however it requires atleast 3 or 2 even to activate it rather than just the one. That way if one of them gets mind controlled or joins superman there are still others that have it.

I'm gobsmacked by how committed Superman is from protecting people from himself if he ever went bad.

Well take for exemple injustice 2 brainiac's ship was destroyed but in many ending he is killed by the character himself
