Maximillan Young the mine is a "low" so even it crosses up all you have to do is duck But the mine is a great setup tool for hardtoblockables

It is a cross-up in a way that you have to block the other way. Even by jumping over, your opponent still needs to block the other way.

um... there is no low crossups...

Optimizing on his character combos is key ! Meter burning his abilities only adds minimal damage they are mainly meant to juggle so I wouldn't recommend meter burning anything at the end of your combo. Unless you're resetting

I cant belive you found all this out in the first week, great video.

Jesus its simple people. You will do a higher NUMBER on Darkseid but the percentage of health relative to each character will be equal. Darkseid has a huge amount of health so he takes more damage as a result. A combo that lands half of his health may take 750 damage to equal half of darkseids health. That same combo on a lower health character would still be half but the numbers are different because they dont take as much damage which helps make up for their lower health stat. IT IS STILL THE SAME PERCENT DAMAGE with about a 1-2% margin.

I'd love to see a robin combo vid. Most I've seen besides my own bnb combos and hayatei's creative mix up combos for Robin have been sub-par. Your combos in the lab have been impressive. Red hood's my second pick so nice to see optimum combos for him.

Many of these combos are arena specific and the corner ones are simply impractical in a multiplayer setting.

What combo is impractical? Almost all arenas have a middle interactable to bounce, hence the reason I don't use discoballs, ice pipe or some other arena specific and even if i did - so what? You are not going to play on those arenas?

For those who talk about damage being less cause of Darkside, please stop. It's the same percentage on every character.

You need to be fast, but first turn off all stuff in wireless controls menu. Release check, shortcuts and everything.

Large hitbox and DLC. It is kinda my thing that I beat pre-order DLC characters. When you practise, you should do combos on Darkseid and Catwoman. They both need different combos and Darkseid covers almost all male (not Joker) and Catwoman covers all female, in most parts. Some chars have weird hitboxes. People do complain, that he has the biggest damage number, but % is still the same, so it doesn't matter. I cannot change now, since I wouldn't be able to compare the combos later on, when I want to do biggest damage for all characters.

I see it but like when you makes titles like 1052 max dmg it is a little misleading so for max damage you could have the % and dmg so that people don't think it is like a one combo kill thing but you do you

I have tried aeverything and people always complain. If I would but that 55,6% combo, then people assume, that it is 556 combo and when it is not, they they are confused, why I don't use damage. Why I don't use Superman as dummy, why not Batman....there is always something. Since I do all combos on one char, it is really easy to compare and find things that suit your needs.

a hobby gamer gameplay you should check out my red hood combos. their not damaging but their flashy.

Just so everyones know these combos will hit about 1-2% less on the rest of the cast since hes doing them to darkseid which has the worst ratio of DEF to HP to over inflate the dmaage numbers. Just a heads up i tried explaining this to him but he does not care and neither should you.

Nope. If you take the input and output, then for example, the 765 damage does 54,64% on Darkseid. Since TheLastOfKobra only calculates one way, what he means, there are 3 sets in this game - high, mid and low. Darkseid is mid, since he has high heatlh. Therefore characters that have for example 1050 health (all of them) will get 55,84% (more than Darkseid) or 586 damage. The characters with 1250 health will lose 52,14% of their health or 652 damage. These are all actual numbers and you can check them on no matter what character, since only their max health matters. But, those calculations do not take into consideration, that the same ratio applies, when taking damage yourself, so the 1050 characters will do 102,2% damage on every hit and so on. I tell this once more - in competitive mode, it doesn't matter, but % wise you get the most damage against 1050 health characters or number wise you get the biggest number against high health characters. Why even bother with this nonsense is beyond me. This shit was all calculated and compared on day 1 of this game, yet people still talking about it. Combos still work and do the the damage, set-ups still work and so on. These are still the highest damage you find at the moment. Clearly NRS overestimated the player base with using using classical Killer Instinct health system, so I will let Tyler know about the issue and suggesting to make the game go back to %, since seems that most people just don't understand. I did combo videos on SNES KI and back then - everybody understood the idea - now "numbers here are wrong, he is weaker...blaa, blaa, blaa". Yeah, no.

Wow. Lol, I am a professional mathematician, my actual work. You seriously do not know how it works. Take any combo from this video and do it on Superman for example and then calculate the%. You get a little more, than against Darkseid. And then you are scratching your head, because nothing makes sense to you. It is not that hard. So, because I don't do something that others do, it is bad somehow? I do better combos as well, as they do, so - does that mean, that their channels suck? Or what? You have some other deal here and I am losing patience with you. You don't understand - fine. But do run around under every video spreading some nonsense is kinda annoying. Thanks you for the views, but dude, just go to some other channel, where they do combos, that you can do and where they use dummies that you like. I here do not care. I use and do what ever I want in my video.

Here, do this. Do not use competitive mode, just use loadout wihtout gear and use level equalizer to get to level 20. What will happen? 1. Why does some characters do more damage, and some less, than in competitive mode, when ALL STATS are the same. Why is that? 2. Why some characters still remain untouched from competitive mode, but some special moves do less damage? This is all day 1 shit, that went through forums. It is not supposed to be that hard, but I guess when there are people who cannot do 2+2x2+2x2 things, then this is no surprise. Please, if you do not like it, just don not look my videos. It is that easy. There are like 20 channels that all the same combos and on same opponents, so go and enjoy those.

Damage is based on the max number of health. So if you take by %, then you get the health bar loss. The max one in the video is 765, that is 54,64%. So against a 1250 health, that means around 680 damage. % remains.

You use discoball, which I haven't done on regular combos and I won't. I use discoball for ability combos. You can do some high damage from ice pipe and the crane, or even use the timed bomb, to get unblockable resets, which do over 1500. I keep those things for the future, when there have been few patches and all DLC are available.

Anti-Manners I don't think his damage was nerfed. I think the guy was using Red Hood with competitive mode on and that's why he did so much damage. Or you could be right. Maybe he was nerfed. Just sharing my opinion, but him getting nerfed is more likely

Chokky Darkseid has the very low defense which is why his health is high. Combos do a lot more on this character you can even test it for yourself. There's no way your getting meterless 500 damage combos on red hood.

add annotations and slow down some of the longer ones

also some of these arent true combos. they can be interrupted and blocked mid way

Combo comes after set-up. Set up itself is not supposed to be a combo.

Lol, this damage % are false. The only reason he does high damage, is because Darkseid has very low defense.

In this game you have 3 things, that give free damage - jump in 3, ex b3 and ex f3. They by themselves are like 20%, which is weird.

Cash Walrus no you do more damage on darkseid but they are still execution heavy swaggy combos that are pretty tough to do but darkseid takes ton of damage i can do 540 with supergirl on him and struggle getting high 400s on the other people
