I think Enchantress is cool. Atom is not bad, I hope his CW Gear is going to be added. And of course the TMNT look so amazing! I am actually ok with this. I am so happy but I am also hoping that once these characters are released, Ed continues to support this game and adds more characters.

Chase XJ NRS have stated they would continue to support Injustice 2 not sure if that means in terms of DLC characters or just updates, I am a bit disappointed in the TMNT as I would have preferred to have a DC character like beast boy, I am excited for enchantress but I would have preferred meera tbh atom.. atom is "meh" lol

I think theyre ability( the nija turtles) would be to change between each other, like they throw a smoke bomb to the floor and another character would pop out, they'll have all the same special moves, except for 1 or 2, and theyre fighting style would be completly diferent, like leo would be more of a standar type of character, mickey a faster one , raphael would do a shit ton of damage , and dony would be slower but more of a setup character; each one would activate the ultimate in a diferent way , but it would be the same. And the gear would affect all four of them

I started watching Ninja Turtles only last year but I’ve been fanboying them ever since, I marked the fuck out when I saw this.

they could have a little bar as their Character Power divided by 3 each time you press (O) in Ps4 or (B) in Xbox, you switch characters. (there should be no time limit for each time you use the character power)

I'm still on a high from yesterday. What an epic, epic, epic announcement. And I've only been excited over Dragon Ball. But now I'm totally on board for Injustice again!

I think this is a unique add on to the game. Feel like Leo being their leader will be default, and the rest of the characters will be skins Mr freeze, bizaro, black lightning, ECT. Can't wait to play as hell boy once he's released and very excited to see tmnt in action! Side note, I think inchantress would be a fun character to play. Wished they actually did more with her in the movie, feel like they took a easy way out in suicide squad, but I believe she has a lot of potential!

It might being a premier skin system between the Turtles, Leo being default and than Premier skin for the others. It seems like they do have different voice actors for each Turtle so I can see how it can work already.

What if it's like TRIBORG (more like QUABORG) cycle through or for the LOAD-OUTS pick from the 4 or they are SHADERS/PREMIERE SKIN that you can choose from. Or you play as all 4 and each TURTLE will have a TAG move for example (R1 switches between them) and also since we got 2 from MK does that mean we could be getting SPLINTER or SHREDDER? Maybe even BEEBOP and ROCKSTEADY?

Would also love to see the trench coat again in the actual game! It was so awesome seeing Raph walk up looking just like the original 1990 TMNT film! :)

When you think about it, the TMNT are the whole reason for the gear system. If you look at them, all four turtles are just pallet swaps with different weapons. The shaders can be used to give the turtles their colors and the customizable accessory would be there weapons and which ever weapon you have equipped is the turtle you play as. It makes so much sense. They've been building this up since the gear system was first announced

Have a feeling the turtles are gonna have a character power where one swaps in kind of like MvC so like mid combo you tap the character power with a direction and one of the turtles has a combo extender or ender?

The 4 Turtles will probably change based on the trait, like, by pressing the trait button and another one of the buttons will select a specific turtle.

The trait could be used to switch ur ninja turtle

I think maybe tmnt will either be like premiere skin type deals where you switch them the their weapons change or the will be color shaders and u unlock the diff weapons

+unCAGEDgamez Great video as usual but I think I can answer (to a degree) your question about how the TMNT will play. In one of your speculation videos about fighter pack 3 (it may have been a wish list video actually) you showed a clip of Ed Boon saying that one of the characters in fighter pack 3 would not only be a massive surprise, but also have a fighting style that was unlike any other style seen in a fighting game. On top of that, at the end of the reveal trailer for fighter pack 3, one of the Turtles (I think it's Leo) says: "We fight as a team!" right before they leap into action and the trailer ends. While I'm sure most people will just think of it as a bit of random dialogue, I believe that it is a literal reference to how they will actually fight (as in gameplay) - namely as a team. What I mean by this is that when you select them in character selection you will simply choose "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" in the same way you simply choose Batman or Superman. When it comes to playing them, I think that either they will all be on the screen at once or you'll have one on screen and be able to switch between them. If they are all on screen at once, your combos (for example) will involve all of the turtles participating in the strikes of the combo. For example, a combo of light attk, light attk, medium attk, sweep attk might look like (Raphael stabs with sai, Mikey backhands with nunchuku, Leo downward sword swipe, Donny horizontal leg sweep with his bo staff. And so on. Special moves would be easy enough by having things like "Sai Throw" or " "Katana Slash", "Upward Katana Slash" or something and only using one turtle at a time per move (maybe mixing them together or adding another turtle for meter burns). The only thing I can't really account for with this style is a character trait. So I think its more likely that only one will appear on the screen at a time (hopefully you can choose who that is at the start) and that the trait will have something to do with switching out or between the different turtles. If this is the case, then I wouldn't rule out each turtle having their own move set and once you switch to them much like Wonder Woman's or Nightwing's trait from Injustice: Gods Among Us switching weapons (Sword and Shield - Lasso for WW and Escrima Sticks - Bo Staff for NW) and granting them a different move set depending on which of their weapons were "equipped" at the time. Finally it could be some combination of the 2 different ideas/styles. Obviously its all still speculation but as for what I'm pretty sure about: I don't think there will be multiple Turtles on screen all the time just because of the hitbox nightmare that would create for everyone involved. Plus animations would be that much harder and the screen would risk getting too busy with players losing track of what's happening. So I think that switching characters somehow is pretty likely and my gut says that if I'm right on that, it will he trait related. I do think however its equally likely that you can pick your turtle (as in which one you want on screen for the battle) and have combos etc inclusive of the other turtles as I mentioned earlier. But anyway, I hope that helped and really do believe that even if I'm wrong about the details, the TMNT will definitely play "As a team". As in they will all count as one character but have either gameplay indicative of multiple characters or gameplay inclusive of all of the Turtles at once. I'm so sure of this I kinda wanna bet on it some how but aaaanyways, cheers for the video, looking forward to the next one.

Elijah Acevedo Ed boon did say the surprise character(tmnt) will have a fight style like no other Leo did say we fight like a team so i am guessing they will fight like a team as/in combos and thats is why i was more interested than i was pissed

What I find interesting is how the Turtles say “We fight as a team”. I think it’s going to be a situation where using special moves switches characters. I.e. different moves are done by different Turtles and then the one on screen you use is the one from the last move.

For the TMNT play style (if it were simple) they'd be the only character with variations. But for the more complex approach,have they're gear change they're belt, bandana, or they're weapons like how you can change aquaman's trident or have an ability to change they're weapon like how you can get nightwing staff for robin

I think it's gonna be one character/character slot, and you might be able to either choose which turtle you play as from the start, and thats who you get, or their 'b' button/'circle' button/ character power will swap the turtles. Idk tho, but im pumped youll def get to play as all the turtles with their different movesets/ styles tho. I feel it in my loins.

Personally, I’m just not a fan of guest characters. MK Characters were expected. Hellboy was a nice surprise. But TMNT? What’s next? Beast Boy, Spider Man and Strawberry Shortcake?

I bet the Turtles are gunna work together like switching in and out throughout the match when you do certain combos or special moves, not shaders, move sets, or each Turtle being it's own playable character. I bet each turtle will have some basic attacks and small moves for thier different weapon types but the big combos and specials will bring more turtles on screen kinda like how Swamp Thing summons a copy of himself and attacks and even switches with a copy of himself in that one combo.

Notice that blue ninja turtle says we fight together. Will they be one fighter and their ability is swapping between or their combos involve each other?

It's simple how the turtles will play, one character( Leo) is default, then press the trait button to have another turtle switch out and potentially have combo potential.

I think they will character switch with the trait and direction buttons. Or the weapon as the 5th gear slot will determine which turtle. Can't wait for the intro's though lol...

@unCAGEDgames Personally, I think it's a good thing that the TMNT are in Injustice 2. It will bring a refreshing change to the game I think. In recent years the TMNT property hasn't had a good gaming reputation (the last good TMNT game I played was the great iteration of the PS2 TMNT TV series videogame.. And that was all the way back in 2003). All their videogame outings since then, I think have been below-average, so it will be good to see them done justice (pardon the pun) and back where they belong: In the fighting-game genre

The way i think it will work is that the turtles would be a character traits. And they can switch in and out kind of like in MVCI.

With the turtles my guess is that you are going to start with leo and then you can change the turtle like you change the arrows with green arrow

I think the Ninja turtles would work is Leonardo is the default turtle, and the character ability will have a different turtle come in and switch places with the previous one you were playing as depending on what direction you hold the stick or d pad, like a tag team partner

I image the playtime for TMNT to be: your base player is leo and the character trait is swapping between the brothers. Each having their own unique playstyle like Leo and Raph being offensive and Don and Mikey being defensive. This would allow for incredible gameplay and mid combo swaps much like in UMVC. This makes them unlike any NRS character released and essentially 4 in 1 for a character. Just think when they say in the trailer "remember, we fight as a team"

For the Turtles, what if they had ability slots for weapon choices? Pick a shader/premier skin to be your favourite turtle, then pick the ability with the weapon of your choice. Leonardo would be the default and the premier skins would have different voices for the different turtles.

Since I live in England this trailer came out really late so I turned off notifications for uncaged and super in case they put the characters in the title, and left notifications on for the official injustice channel. So I wake up and check my phone and see the notification, I quickly click on it and catch a quick glimpse of the thumbnail. I was so surprised when I saw shrek.... no joke I actually saw the turtle head and thought it was shrek. So I'm waiting to see the sick shrek reveal then I see Raphael and I'm like "ohhhhhhhh I see"

Used to be robin... tortured by joker.... came back.... one of the most requested character for injustice along side with spawn beastboy and rorsach (I don't know how to spell his name) and its a dc game and if people want to play as MK characters they can play MK *NO hate tho* but one question, why don't you like starfire? She is really good. Sad some people (im not saying you are one of them) hate starfire due to CN with Teen Titans Go! Once again no hate, I don't want to start a fight Edit:wow I'm surprised I wrote this much and I know this is an opinion, I'm just saying something on your opinion wich is my opinion...ok I'll stop talking ._.

Reginald Skulls I can understand why you didn't like red hood in game and his ending, his ending to me was OK...but it could've been better. Same goes to starfire but I personally liked starfires ending since she said she didn't know what happened to beastboy and in the comic she witnessed beastboy dying wich adds more mystery to the storyline like is this an alternate starfire and if so how did she get here? And that is true not everyone has played mkx and want to see what they play like. But isn't mk less expensive? I forget but anyway that doesn't matter

I think they would add one turtle logo in the character selection but when you click on it it would split up into the four different turtles then you click the one you want to play as

Rorschach as a premier skin for joker actually works cause he also just uses objects like knives, crowbars, electric buzzer, anything he can find
