I tried back 1,2. It's this double kick and overhead punch that sends the enemy backwards on the floor. It's not the most damaging but is more helpful than zoning in the air.

Thanks for showing how easy these combos are. Maybe people will stop acting like they're geniuses for studying combos and then losing matches to people using simple moves. It boggles my mind how arrogant these people are after losing a match, "Masher! Spammer! Do you even know any combos!?". They almost make you feel bad for winning, that's how much they complain :D (I work on my combos in practice btw). It's funny because a lot of these people are so caught up in their own head, you can just walk right up to them and throw them, especially when you can tell they're scared, it's like they mentally freeze up, lolz. Whatever, I talk too much :D COMBOS!!!!!!!

You can follow up 2,2,3 with a back+3 with the right timing. extending the combo without the need of expending bats. With that being said, you can start the combo with whatever stream you want, since you can cancel it with enhanced down, front+ 1 and then jumping 2 then the 2,2,3.

I can't even throw the batarang without my joystick thinking I want to jump or duck. It's literally so hard to be precise in the heat of battle, I end up just mashing the buttons here and there hoping for a combo to just happen.

Yeah i had the same problem. took me an hour or so to get. combo: uf+2,2,3 uf+2,2,2 straight grapple (meter burn) bla bla bla. the trick is to do 'up forward 2,2,3 up+2' with speed. A tiny split second delay and then 2,2 grapple quick.

@@GeeTee1 Wait until batman is about to hit the ground before doing 2,2 df1 (bat grapple) . Also don't wait between 2,2 and df1 to keep the combo, batman will still be hitting your opponent while you press df1.

Here's how I do it. I mastered the combo already so take it from me. When I had trouble doing it,it was because after the 2 2 (after the second jump 2) I panicked and moved the joy stick the wrong way. As soon as you do the 2 2 make sure to move the stick down and forward. It will take time,but it becomes muscle memory and you'll have it mastered

best character in the game IMO

Now do superman. I usually don't like you IGN but this is a solid video and well put together and easy to follow

Please do more of these this helped me get my batman to a level 20!

People forget you can enhance his up batterang to bounce them and get pretty massive damage

do all of the characters. it will help everybody

who doesn't struggle with zoners, this game favors zoners for some odd reason.

You can use bats after stay down and then follow up with grapple

Doesn't have a good tool for getting in on zoners? The glide can help get over most projectiles, the bats are great for punishing projectiles at long distances so you can dash in or even use the grapple. Batman is who i use against zoners

If you are gonna use the low starter you will use 2 metters a grapple enhanced to set it up and then the combo

Garrett Friday I know this for the bread and butter for beginner's but he has to explain a little bit more when using half of these moves. when he said db 2 for the air batarang for jumping opponent's is true, however, u can do many things with that move in general, like mix ups. he should explain more into detail on what others ways u can u that specific move. is he showing good combo's but if your repeating the same move on the opponent, there going to know your next move and punish u for it. its good watching these videos but practice on your own time as well to find the best solution to many things.

No trait combos? The "bread and butter" can go on for at least 100 more damage with trait you activate bats as soon as you want to start the combo and release them at the time the bomb explodes, then grapple kick/enhance

Can you do a firestorm tutorial?

I know this is old and i doubt anyone will read this, but for some reason on the jump 2/223/jump 2/123 combo, i can never get the 123 to land. It always starts the first two hits of mind games (123), but the 3, the move where he scoops them back up into the air never triggers. Standing/neutral i can get it to land every time, its a simple string. But it seems like the 3 in the 123 never triggers after a jump attack. Does this have extremely precise timing or is my controller screwy? After any jump attack i just can't get the full 123 to go off. It's not that it misses, it just doesn't seem to register that i pushed 3.

Just a suggestion for your next character combo guide the stage should be Gorilla City and not the swamp i.e. too dark.

When you do your j2 223 combos, try to jump1 instead of jump2, much easier to land the following hits since it keeps them juggling longer. Try it :D

any advise for timeing the the 223 into the b3 i cant get the timeing down maybe 1ce out of 20 times

People, Batman is the easiest character to learn. Why? If you go to Lean in the single player menu, do the expert combo training. It will teach you way better combos than are on here. Some are hard but it does have a demo showing the combo plus a controller that you can see button inputs in order to get the timing right.

I learnt this and it's a sick combo
