Not in Mortal Kombat 11, he gone all Dark Raiden. In the MK 11 reveal Raiden electro tortured the shit outta Shinnok, then chopped off Shinnok's head and sent it to Liu Kang and Kitana as a message he ain't fucking around no more.

What we heard: "Combat is about controlling conflict." What Raiden heard: "Kombat is about kontrolling konflict."

Seeing Raiden tell Damian that he bringing sorrow to Batman and he is causing friction on his soul is such a relief. I don't know, somebody finally saying "He has enough to deal with and you are not making it any easier" just feels good, especially from somebody like Raiden!

22:30: "Like all tyrants, you will fall before me!" The echo when he says that (I assume because of the level they're in) makes it sound so much more badass. Especially since it's Darkseid. I also like that he calls out a lot of the villains by name so you know he has those lines specifically for that character.

Harley Quinn: Can you make me a pony? Raiden: I'm a Thunder God, NOT a wizard! Harley Quinn: BORING!!!! That was the best exchange ever!

I think the potential with Superman Vs Raiden in this game is great. The ending of MKVDC has Raiden and Superman form a kind of respect for one another so Raiden ending up on this distorted world where the Man he learned to respect has turned into a monster is really cool

Drrifftu To be fair, Im sure they learned from making that disaster of a game, and since then I feel they got better and better every game. For example, MKX was a much better polished game then MK9 and Injustice 2 is WAY better then the first Injustice game.

Joker: Heard of the other lightning guy? Black Adam: The one with the bamboo hat? Yes.

I really like the dialogue between Raiden and Damien. Especially the one about Batman.

My favorite Raiden, in terms of characterization. This is him at his peak. I miss this version of him so much. MK 1 really replaced Raiden and his god status with the golden boy Lui Kang. He deserves it but I miss old Raiden and Sub-Zero.

I feel when the next MK game comes out they'll have Onaga in it like the original trilogy, when Raiden blows him, Quan Chi and Shang Sung up to try and kill Onaga, then comes back as Dark Raiden I feel that will happen again in the new games,

This dialogue is exceptionally high

17:16 could be a little bit stretching but Shujinko reference? Shujinko did get his power to absorb fighting styles and abilities from something so divine to a human being. Also, when he says “ takes you on a Fool’s journey,” rings a bell to Shujinko as he did go on and waste his life on a quest where Raiden and Taven would call him a fool in the end.

1. I'm surprised that Raiden and Catwoman make no references to MK vs. DC given that they both were in the same game. 2. How the hell does Raiden know Jason Todd despite the fact he wasn't mentioned nor seen in MK vs. DC? 3. Batman's "prove it to me" is not only very lame but challenging an Elder God like Raiden is like asking him to "zap the hell out of me". 4. If Raiden says that "not even the Elder Gods can rehabilitate you" to someone like Joker, then that's a very good reason that Joker deserves to die.

That moment when you have 2 Scarecrow voice actors in the same game... I also noticed...no dialogue with Powergirl, Vixen, or Bizarro or Mr. Freeze.
