"Injili mar Hera" (Gospel of Love) was one of my paternal grandmother's favorite songs. We spent the night with her whenever we visited from the city. My grandmother loved hymns and sang them with great humor through her versions of corrupted English pronunciations. She also counseled and prayed with us. Decades later I still sing this song in her memory.
