This looks more like extrusion or maybe being more presice - intrusion (this is actually ENGEL’s name of the process of extrusion directly to mold). As mentioned, no good quality to be expected, but still works.

Yes you are right this is extruder machine and modified as per need of local/small (low cost) industry. Quality depend on mold or material quality sir.

@@TechnicalpointSFA sure, tool is always a case, but this is a separate topic. I rather meant no control under the melt, low process pressures, no holding phase. However, if not needed, then not needed. If quality is acceptable for the customer, then achieving more quality is a useless cost :-)

Good work but instead of using one molding and machine you can use 7 to 8 molding at a time which can save lots of time and easy for bulk orders

yes sir this is manual and offset molding for low investment business and in injection moulding machine mostly make single cavity mould because of cores/sliders.

@@TechnicalpointSFA cores and sliders really makes the cost go up for a part like this if sent to a big commercial shop. easily 20,000USD for the mold for a commercial setup.. Which would make a investment of say 2000usd to 3000usd in your machine, increase to more than 40,000USD. All for a item that will sell the same if it is made on cheap machine or expensive machine. So yes good job. My only suggestion would be to wrap the barrel with high temp exhaust pipe insulation, and make sure the wiring is more safe

Lets be real, these parts are not used in a mechanical critical application. They just need to fit in the tubing and be a good insulator. Also, this process is exactly the same as inyection moulding. Maybe a more expensive mould can open automatically, but the part quality its the same

@@JavierChiappa agree. The biggest issue with the video method is the occasional air bubble. For production however I would insulate the heater and barrel, and make sure the wiring is more safe, but otherwise it works fine for what they doin.

My friend have a similar but more advanced machine in his factory. In that you dont have to pull out the die or product piece. Everything is automated and operation is also fast. You should make a video on that machine too
