haha my reactions are always so genuine and excited, I can't help myself! Because The Marriage Portrait is on the list I might jump on that before Hamnet, but still need to email you about that :)

I only picked 3 and I haven’t seen anyone get much higher so plenty of surprises 😂 I have read 4 of the list and I am excited to read the others!! Great to see your reaction!!

haha yeah I haven't seen anyone predict more than 4 correctly - it was a shock to most of us, but exciting to get my teeth into these new-to-me books!

I don’t think any of us saw this list coming! I’m happy that we have lots of new authors and debuts to try. I’ve only read one (Glory) and I own one (Marriage Portrait). I only predicted 3. It’s so much fun seeing everyone’s surprised reactions! 😊📚

A lot of these books are off the radar. Predicting the shortlist might be a little easier. I’m excited about The Marriage Portrait and Demon Coppers. 😊💙

It's great to learn about so many books you don't know about! You know those are the 2 I know but I'm the least excited about them 😆 i think it's their size

I haven't read any of them. Most excited to read Cursed Bread and The Marriage Portrait. Only heard of 5 of the books. So 11 brand new books introduced to me, which is exciting! ☺

I hadn't heard of most of them so it's definitely exciting, although I'm not seeing the appeal in some of the storylines, we'll see what they bring! Just finished Cursed Bread and I thought it was excellent!

I had no idea there was an announcement video haha. It's great to hear why they chose it. I think anyone who did a prediction video did well as there see so many books to choose from. This video made me reconsider 'I'm a Fan',, I might actually read it!

Yes I only discovered videos announcements last year and it's fun to watch - although I feel like after the titles I didn't hear anything about why they picked it cause I was so excited 😂

It’s been so funny to see people’s reaction to this list, I think it’s fair to say it’s given most people quite a surprise and a whole lot of new books to try 😂 I predicted four right and I’m quite happy with that 😂 I look forward to any more WP content 💕

haha yes most of us are like 'never heard of that' 😂4 is such a good predictions number, not sure I've seen anyone predict correctly more than that!

I watched several prediction videos, and honestly, I did not see most of these books on anyone’s list. Don’t feel bad.

Never heard of them except for Demon Copperhead and The Marriage Portrait. But that is OK as obviously there is quite a diverse group of books out there that may not be as well known but deserve some love. :)

I think I predicted 22 books and only got The Marriage Portrait.

I’m just happy that I’ve already read one book (Demon Copperhead) and another book is on my tbr for March(bandit queens)! Don’t feel bad for your prediction video, there’s just too many good books😂

I think that's probably the longest one so it's a GREAT start haha I have acquired Bandit Queens and I'm so excited for it!!

I don't think we can guess out of hundreds of books to guess 16. In my unofficial prediction I guessed Trespasses and Demon Copperfield and thought about Glory. But who knows what my list would have been if I had of sat down and filmed. Excited to follow and read along with you this year ❤️

I would love if the list of submitted and eligible books was available haha I'd comb through it, it'd be so much fun! Those 3 definitely came into my line of sight but I wasn't too keen so dismissed them lol and they are books I might wait to see if they are shortlisted to read! Let me know if you'd like to do a collab at some point about the prize :)

It would be fun to collab ❤️ Yeah I'm still not sure I'll read Demon Copperfield, I feel similar to The Great Circle where I'm generally interested and would probably read it if it was half the length but not sure my interest is that great. I read Glory for The Booker Prize and I did end up enjoying it more than I thought and Trespasses I'm excited for.
