These two guys are pros, especially for SW20 driver. That car is not an easy one, it's indeed a very difficult one. Moreover, without boost, it will be almost impossible to overtake that RX8. In pro-battle like this, boost on is something general.

Basically they can corner faster than a f1 car, imagine drifting a hairpin at 130 on 4th gear

This players driving disrespected the MR2 so bad. How dare he grind the apex of each corner! Such an oversteering car has no trouble gliding through corners. MR2 acceleration is poor everytime it contacts wall, especially since it doesnt have turbo. Im appauled! But was so nostaligic to watch. Im mr2 ID stage 3 player as well =D

Generally speaking, boost-on mode is more balanced than boost-off. Once you get in higher tier of battle, you will know It.

Manuel Landa Boost on races became popular in Japan, HongKong, even here in Taiwan since about 2005-2006. People debated boosting issues for a long time, they finally found that even in boost-on games, experienced battle players can easily block rivals while use same car as rival's. As a result, more battle skill, even harder than blocking/overtaking 15-stars-Bunta, are discovered. I recommend you to search KZread channel, " KeelungD3 " there are plenty of battle vids of elite players of Taiwan. Remember, only noobs thinks that boost-on is uncontrollable, unblockable, or easy to overtake others.

gwendless I don't want to get in a huge heated argument for nothing but for me there is a huge difference between boost-off or boost-on in handling. When boost is on the player in second is constantly being pulled toward the lead player and the lead player is pulled back. Once I played the game alone and someone had left the opponent machine while the game was still going and I raced with out anyone touching the other car and my car was being pulled back while the other car was gaining speed as I got farther from it. When it's a tight race the boost might not feel as if it makes a difference but when boost is off it shows you the real gap in player skill.

Noobs. Always get bump every corner
