The whole movie makes Bunta look like a crazy addicted alcholic and a non-caring dad when in the anime Bunta always asked Takumi what happened after the races, drank once in a while but not too much, and really cared about Takumi. He taught Takumi how to drive differently and taught him some amazing skills that really made him good. He helped Takumi be who he is today

I agree, the races were the only thing redeemable throughout the entire movie. Everything else was just bad and ruined the image of my BOI BUNTA the God of Drifting, litterally turned him into a Drunkard abusive dad. Nothing gets me mad about this movie but Bunta...

I have no interest in Initial D without Keisuke. He is such an integral character to the story and just putting his attributes on Nakazato and Ryosuke is really half-assed. As he states in his first uphill battle in Tochigi, "I am D's ace".

This is one of the only movies im happy to read the subtitles all the way through. Great movie and this idea was done really well.

its changed from the anime -ryosuke is also keisuke , and he already knew the outcome since the last encounter with takumi -actually i dont think takumi looks energetic tbh -live action takeshi is also a bit of kozo hoshino , the r34 guy -ehh that part i really dunno lol -theres no eurobeat in the original movie , they cant get the copyrights -There are also fat people in the anime -Itsuki is a mix of iketani and a hell lot asshole in this movie compared to the anime -takeshi did not emphasize on grip technique in the movie , so its only weird to the anime/manga viewers

Everyone using Japanese version but this is a Hong Kong movie, they actually speak Cantonese in this movie, this video is from a dubbed version

This is the coolest thing I have seen in a long time.

Disappointed that they didn’t use Eurobeat in the movie. It was cool that they used the real life location that the manga was based off though.

I think they went with songs that people would actually listen to at the time to be able to sell them, just like how Michael Bay changed Bumblebee from a beetle to a hecking Chevrolet. That and Eurobeat is often considered more campy.

It really depends on the drain....if it's really deep, then..... Suspension:I die, byi forever In the scene, the gutter is literally dirt, so one side is on the tarmac and the other is on dirt, it'll work out...

Depends where you watched it. It was filmed with each actor speaking in their native language (Jay Chou in Mandarin, Anthony Wong in Cantonese, the actress who played Natsuki in Japanese), and then they dubbed the movie into Mandarin/Cantonese/Japanese depending on the territory it was released in. The really should have gone with licensing some sweet Eurobeat tracks, though.

What makes InitialD great? The fxxkin soundtracks. It takes me back to my childhood every time!

The eurobeat fits perfectly with it!

公開日に仕事終わりにお店の先輩達を連れて映画館観に行って、DVDも出たらスグ買いました！懐かしい😊 今でも原作の頭文字Dは台詞全部覚えてるくらいマニアで大好きですが、そんな自分でもこの映画は良かったです。なによりも映像の疾走感はすごかったです。 やれ原作と違うとか、ここは秋名（榛名）山じゃないとか、ヤボな事はいいません😊

自分も単純に頭文字Dが好きで 映画楽しみました

原作と比べるとほとんど設定が違くて批判されるのも仕方ない けど、演出であったりカーアクションは迫力あってすごくいいと思う 違うものとして観るなら案外楽しめる作品だと思うな

この作品のこと原作ファンがボロクソ言ってるけど、小学生の時のワイはとても好きだったぞ。こういう世界線の頭文字Dも面白いなーって今でも思う。こういう作品なんだと割り切って見ればめっちゃ神作

EVA- 001 わかってくれる人いてうれぴ。 原作の86とかR32とかエボ3、FCがドリフトしてバトルしてるだけで興奮。 頭文字Dを知ったきっかけ。 これを超える実写はないと思ってる。 改めてスポ車に乗りたくなった。 俳優陣もかっこいいし、何気役にあってて好き

@@lechristine1372 When it first came out, it was REALLY bad. Then it leveled out as most things do; butnwould stop get bad on the weekends.

カーアクション自体は普通にクオリティ高くて面白いんだがな...

Despite how this movie botched a lot of characters, it really wasn't that bad. Makes me wish for a live action show that actually adapts the manga/anime faithfully.

これホントにドリフトしてて凄いね。 命懸けじゃん。

Seriously, this was so amazingly well done

i come back to this and reaslise how good the movie is

こういう実写映画や実写ドラマでもう一回イニDを見たい

we'll they actually did quite a lot changes to him in the movie, he is portraited more a brat (the gas station manager is somehow his father in this movie) than just a race car fan boy in the anime. btw the actor and his role here is pretty much a meme in Hong Kong
