இனி ஒரு ஜென்மம் வேண்டாம்...
முந்தைய காலகட்டத்தில் மருத்துவ அறிவியல் ஆனது கருவில் இருக்கும் குழந்தை ஆணா பெண்ணா என கண்டறிய முடியாமல் இருந்தது. பிறந்த குழந்தைகள் சிறிது ஆண்டுகள் கழித்து ஒரு சிலர் மட்டும் அவர்களுடைய நடை உடை பாவனைகளை வைத்து அவர்கள் மூன்றாம் பாலினத்தவர்கள் என்று அடையாளப்படுத்தப்பட்டனர்.
இன்றைய காலகட்டத்தில் நவீன மருத்துவ உலகில் கருவில் இருக்கும் சிசு ஆணா பெண்ணா அல்லது ஊனமா என்று எளிதில் கண்டு பிடிக்க முடிகிறது. இதற்கு உலக சுகாதார மையம் அங்கீகாரமும் அளித்துள்ளது.
இனி வரும் மருத்துவ அறிவியல் உலகத்தில் ஆர்ட்டிஃபிஷியல் இன்டெலிஜென்ஸ்
என்ற நவீன தொழில்நுட்ப உதவியுடன், கருவில் இருக்கும் சிசு மூன்றாம் பாலினம்

It is a memorable short film because it packs a number of social issues. Through the transgender doctor's struggles whether to advice termination of the five month old fetus, the Director captures how transgender persons view their prospects in a society full of males and females in body and mind. Like autism and other special genetic conditions, Nature can produce a third category, neither fully male nor female in body and mind. That exception can pose challenges for society in terms of how to provide a comfortable space for such exceptions. I wish the film had been slightly longer focusing on the Doctor's dilemma and making explicit her reasons for advising termination. Sound quality in Y.T. needs to be louder. I am glad I watched this short film because such creative films are the need of the hour in India. Too many masala movies but not enough serious and creative films.
