I was at this show. It was my 16th birthday and I got to me her afterwards. She was so sweet, we talked to me for a while, and signed my Girls and Boys CD. After that I met up with a friend and in my excitement I ended up leaving the CD on a shelf. When I noticed 20 min later I ran back to find it, I ran up the stairs just as Ingrid was coming down. I was instantly so embarrassed but she stopped me, remembering my name and told me she found my CD and gave it to the staff for when I come back looking for it. Memory I will never forget. :')

ingrid michaelson may be the nicest, most real person out there. if only more people knew her and her music i seriously think the world would be one step closer.

I met Ingrid in her gig at the Border's in Hollywood on October 2007. My friend and I came to her gig after it was over. However, her manager let us talk to her. My friend had her guitar and we got to sing with her !!!!! She signed our cd's right after too. [:

this is the first time i heard about ingrid. i never thought a singer could looked like this. i mean, she's very talented, very sweet voice. but her looks like no other singer would want to look like this. still wear spectacles, no big hair, simple shirts, little makeup. i mean, isnt that AWESOME?

I love her, as much as Sara Bareilles. Because both of them do sing their lives' songs better than the CD's ones. And if not better, it's as great as the CD's ones. When you listen to that, it almost seems to be a recorded song, doesn't it ? I mean, you make someone listen to this and tell him after that this is actually a live song, I bet he'll be shocked. It is just perfect. Or should I say : it is what we can call : singing.

What are you talking about? Human Again is different, but it's still lovely. Ribbons, How We Love, I'm Through, my personal favorite End of the World - hardly "crappy mainstream pop." And she sounds amazing with huge string parts behind her. And Maybe might have been a tad more mainstream, but it's still rather nicer than most music :)
