Welcome to Ingoldmells near Skegness in Lincolnshire England, a seaside holiday resort and village with a fantastic Fantasy Island Theme Park, Ingoldmells Market and a fantastic beach and seafront with amusement arcades, rollercoasters and lots of rides as well as shops, caravan parks and more!
Ingoldmells is a coastal village, civil parish and resort town in Lincolnshire, England. It's situated on the A52, and just 3 miles north from the popular resort town of Skegness. It transforms into a hive of activity during the summer months, thanks to its status as a popular holiday destination.
Ingoldmells boasts a long history, with its unique name coming from an old Norse phrase meaning "sandbanks of Ingjaldr". The village was even listed in the Domesday Book and has remnants of Roman occupation, including ancient saltworks. The parish church dates back to the 13th-century and is Grade I-listed.
Today, Ingoldmells is best known for its beaches and caravan parks. It's also home to Fantasy Island, one of the largest theme parks in the region. The town also has Europe's largest seven-day market, with stalls selling everything from souvenirs to fresh produce.
If you're looking for a traditional seaside resort experience, Ingoldmells is a great option. There are plenty of fish and chip shops, amusement arcades, and donkey rides to keep you entertained. However, it's worth bearing in mind that the town can get very busy during peak season.

Fantasy Island
This is the undisputed star of Ingoldmells. Fantasy Island is one of the largest theme parks in the region, offering a thrilling mix of rides, attractions, and shows suitable for all ages. From high-adrenaline rollercoasters to family-friendly carousels and even Europe's largest seven-day market, there's a reason Fantasy Island is a major Lincolnshire destination.
Skegness Beach
Just a short drive from Ingoldmells, Skegness Beach is a classic British seaside resort. This long, sandy beach is perfect for sunbathing, paddling, building sandcastles, or simply enjoying the fresh sea air.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary
A great option for animal lovers, Natureland Seal Sanctuary is home to rescued seals, otters, penguins and a variety of other marine and land animals.
Skegness Pier
Steeped in history, Skegness Pier is a must-visit for anyone interested in traditional seaside fun. The pier offers stunning views of the coastline, amusement arcades, cafes, a bar, and a restaurant.
Skegness Aquarium

1Marina Skegness
If you're looking for a more relaxing activity, take a stroll around Marina Skegness. Watch the boats bobbing on the water, enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants, or even take a boat trip out to sea.

Ingoldmells is completely unrecognizable from when our family would take our holidays there in the late 70's. Six of us would cram in a small caravan with no electricity or toilet. Such fond memories.

Yes!! That's the same memories that I have from when I was a child Just caravan and a beach (the part of the beach I used to go to had dunes and grass on some of it!)

It feels like you're stuck in it forever 🤣 In all honesty I rushed through it and skipped a few parts of it in this video too!
Another of my favourite places, I stayed on the caravan park on the right hand side next to Oasis bar I absolutely loved it, the market is brilliant I could spend all day on there , the only thing I dont like are the rides thundering past above your head other than that its brilliant, I hope to go back again soon I really miss it

Ingoldmells best place in Skegness bc your got a beach near by you got Arcades your got shops all around you can buy your also got rides there and you got food places to eat you also have a little bar if your walk straight and it’s fun for you and your kids to go there and Skegness and Ingoldmells is there though summer winter every bit and it’s the best there

At the planet fun arcade cafe, a couple of years ago, they had a little sign apologising for the price increase to their coffee. It was still only 60p 😂 Can't wait to go back to Ingoldmells. Nice video as always 👍🏻

From what I can see, it doesn't look very appealing to me. Cheap markets, amusement parks and empty, depressing beaches. I'm sure it's better when it's busy but that just looks sad really. 😞🤷
