Ingested are the flagbearers of modern UK death metal. They have been churning out bilious anti-anthems for more than a decade-and-a-half, dropping a string of releases that have helped shape the genre. They return with Ashes Lie Still, their most dynamic, inventive, and daring release to date, holding nothing back. The band describes it as "a modern essential. It still has the core Ingested elements of groovy slamming riffs, quick drumming, and guttural vocals but there's also atmosphere, ethereal moments, and some raw old school aggression."

I listen to this song every day and I'm not tired. damn brutal riffs. The video is simple, brutal and expressive at the same time. Through the darkness the fight is hard but not impossible.
I am unable to find words to describe this pure metal machine that takes the mind to another world and dimension, except with one word : a Masterpiece.

Ingested is a Beast that slams fucking beautiful and brutal riffs in the same fucking time. Another crazy dimension that shows the real power of technical death metal that I love. bassist has been gone for a while, 2nd guitarist left recently (not sure how much he was involved on this album) so they are down to 3 but have been touring with a temp 2nd guitarist who I guess will join them officially soon?
