I use JB Weld. On EVERYTHING. It is phenomenal. I even used it on my shifter housing on my car. I shuft pretty hard too. So, if it can hold metal together and take massive torsion, you can use it on plastic.

Yeah, you can make a lot of things, in a pinch, if you just use your head. I made a soldering iron tip out of a piece of #6AWG copper wire for an iron I had bought in Mexico. Steren, where I bought it, didn't even sell the correct replacement tips for it. From the same foot of wire, I made a bearing for the crankshaft balance weight of my John Deere 265. TriGreen said they had some of those in some state up north, but it might be a few weeks before they'd arrive if we ordered them. So, I used one of the old ones and made the other one by hand. It was a Kawasaki f540-v engine. So far, it still runs.

Es una mejora, ya que los dientes hacen de 'trabas' fisicas que ayudan a la union quimica del plastico. Yo particularmente uso alambres dobados en zig-zag; es mas barato, los puedo hacer a medida, y se pueden hacer con simples pinzas o incluso con las manos. :)
