    That looks like a very powerful boat! I have a 10.8 HydroForce and a recently fixed up Chrysler 15. It tops out around 17-18 mph which doesn’t seem that fast to me but can maintain 14-16 mph with 4 below average people-sized people on so I’m impressed. I’ve uploaded a few clips on how it is!

I like how they widen the stance of the frame a bit as my inflatable has a slight taper where I wish to install the front bimini mount. • @GUNSLINGEROUTDOORS

    @GUNSLINGEROUTDOORS

    2 жыл бұрын

    Very sorry for the slow reply I missed this some how.. The cadmaran has a flat bottom in the center section what happens because of how light an inflatable boat is the wave chops and smacks the center of the boat. Sort of like clapping your hands together. Now any inflatable boat will ride rougher than a standard boat do to how light they are. But For instance a friend of mine and I were in up North Wisconsin he has a bris catamaran and I of course have a V-bottom. When the weather became bad he had to slow way down and almost lost everything in the boat.. Another thing that was happening was water was coming over the front of his boat every once in a while when a wave hit just right. Now don't get me wrong companies like TrueKit make an incredibly good boat. These are just the problems that I have seen. Thank you for your comment and stopping by I hope this helps. You are more than welcome to email me at wickedsystems.mb@gmail.com I will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have 🇺🇲🤠

    What do you think about the Achilles boats? I have the LSI-360E. Just curious as you did not mention that brand. Thank you.

  • @GUNSLINGEROUTDOORS

    @GUNSLINGEROUTDOORS

    Жыл бұрын

    I know a few people with Achilles boats and they are a very good boat in many ways. The problem I do see with them is the cost for what you get. They seem to be in the same price point as the zodiac and basically have the same features. They use CSM reinforced fabric, they are just now starting to come standard with aluminum seats and have a fiberglass reinforced transom. All good things the problem is for the price point you could probably pick up almost 2 Saturns Which have heat welded seams, German Heytex fabric and also a fiberglass reinforced transom. With that said you now have to compare them to companys like stryker, swelfish, True Kit and others running an aluminum transom. With the aluminum transom you are able to pull skiers and tubers with no worry of transom failure. And again price point comes into play. But you do have to look at it like this. Do you have a bad boat absolutely not. And as long as it keeps performing for you That's all that matters. If you are looking to replace it sometime due to age then check out some of the other brands. There are so many out there, many of them are basically the same boat rebranded. But some companies you may not have even heard of like Navigator inflatable boats that are doing things a little different with their LI 360. Or maybe you will still want to go with Achilles. All up to you. I do appreciate you watching and commenting. Any other questions don't hesitate to ask or you can email us. Our email is in the description and in our about page.🇺🇲🤠

    my guy thanks for the video! Been looking for a boat for quite some time. Do you have any experience with the costco boat? Cost 800+tax CAD here in Canada (Tobin Sports 3.3 m (10.8 ft.) Yes, a friend of mine had a Costco Tobin boat for a short time. He had a problem with the glue on his transom. I have heard about this problem quite a few times with those boats. However, there are many that like them. So it sounds like they are hit or miss. They are made by Bestway Inflatables & Material Corp. The same company that makes the cheap inflatable mattresses. As for Innovocean, they are a copy of a Stryker. I did have quite a few viewers have questions about them, so I got a hold of them, and the guy was a a##hole putting it bluntly. Definitely quite a few manufacturers of inflatable boats in canada. I now have the NAVIGATOR LI 360, which is a canadian company. It's great because the floor is integrated, which makes it a lot easier to inflate and deflate the way I do on camping trips. Canada companies I know of are Navigator Inflatable boats Swellfish Inflatables boats Seamax Marine Stryker boats Innovocean Just be sure to pick the one that would work best for you. They are not all made the same. Try to stay away from glued Seams. always trying to get welded seams. If you have more questions or want to get more in depth about differences you are more than welcome to email us at Gunslingeroutdoors@yahoo.com Would be more than happy to go over it with you.

    Yes I do still have this boat. Swelfish has just decided to sponsor the channel for a little bit.. If your choice is between the bris or the Saturn. I would go with the Saturn. It's not that the bris is a bad boat It's more about communication. getting ahold of bris is hit or miss. They sometimes answer emails and sometimes don't and they don't have any phone number. Saturn is boats-to-go. I have never heard of them not answering an email and they have a way to talk to a real person on the phone. I also believe the new transum design with the fiberglass is stronger than the bris. I hope this helps. if you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask. Appreciate you stopping by🇺🇲🤠

    @YTxZephyr Once you register the boat, it is no different than any other boat. That may be different for outside the USA. Of course, you will be required to carry life jackets and whatever else your state requires. If you are using a smaller car, I would also suggest looking into the inflatable floor boats like Saturn boats makes. It will cut down on set-up time for you, and they are still strong. Жыл бұрын

    Yes. Owned one actually and it wasn't as good of a ride as one with a Keel. Many companies that make them even won't dispute that. The ride also depends on the manufacturer as well. some manufacturers use a deeper tube to make it more of a catamaran or pontoon boat. For example True Kits boat rides way better then a Bris catamaran by far do to true kits deck height and tube design. Bris uses a shallower deck height which also causes it to nose dive in some cases. But all in all it's up to personal preference. Appreciate you stopping and commenting 🇺🇲🤠

    Why wouldn't you just buy a used aluminum boat? It will cost less and it will will last forever? It looks like you have a yard to store it on a trailer.
