Ty Amy. Before discovering MBTI, I attributed my split personality to being a Gemini. Torn between two people in one body. At several periods of my life I felt I may have a mental disorder. I would love to fight but be fearful of hurting someone physically. Be overly aggressive but cry after confrontations, Want to burn down the world but save everyone from pain and injustice. The contradictions confused me and caused me to isolate. When I was young, I had different groups of friends. Violent criminals, intellectual pacifists, extroverted jocks and artistic drug users. I thought I was looking for a group I would fit into but I was able to fit into every group with ease and still not feel complete. Now I wonder if the twin flames burn inside of me. The more I try to do what's right and expected, the more I want to rebel and revolt. Conforming to the flock is difficult and soul draining. A numbing repentance of interactions. The urge to fly is drained by the absence of destination. But as I hear you speak along with others on this trail, I find a consort of travelers willing to give me lift, so I have a better vantage to discover my station. Again, thank you Amy. As an INFJ with an ESTJ partner, I hope that you get the chance to find one that isn't a narcissist. Being with this person challenges me on so many levels, and is helping me recognize that I am more than my dominant traits. It has been such a blessing in my life to be with someone so grounded and capable. He does struggle with empathy and creativity, but I am here to point things out and challenge him back. It's not the crazy romantic relationship I have always dreamed of. Instead, it is stable, safe, and strong. I really wish this on other INFJs. I don't know if you're in a relationship now but please don't rule out other ESTJs just because that one was bad.

You've obviously done a lot of research on this topic. As an INFJ male, I understand this could become very complicated or very simple. I agree with your conclusions here. Your encounter is less about MBTI and more about a narcissist - empath relationship. I also know from experience that we have to be careful not to be narcissist magnets. Knowledge is power. Your conclusions are spot on - in my opinion. I sincerely hope you are able to move on from this individual. Loving yourself first is the true way forward. Take good care!

I am an INFJ who has just left a 25 year marriage with a narcissistic partner. This past year has truly evolved into an awakening of sorts, like my internal world or soul has expanded infinitely.

My twin flame is an ENFJ (I’m INFJ). We’re both deeply spiritual. We’re both able to see incredible depth in things- me on events and time, her in people. We both experienced incredibly parallel lives. We both complement each other She’s well known in our common friend group for her ‘charisma’ (read: being a well-developed empath). And it hurts like hell when she openly admits that she’s aware of the empath-narcissist dynamic and is dating a narcissist.

Thank you,you’re brilliant,I just want to say from my personal experience,that it’s insanely painful,if not tragic,how the narcissist suddenly changes their stance in relationship,and devalues the empath,but since I evolved,my latest narcissist was fairly ‘innocent’ and allowed me to command some insight into their inner workings.Basically they are an energy worker with some specific limits,it’s hard for the empath to conceive,that just because the narcissist can be very bright at times,doesn’t mean they are not hiding an emotional abyss behind their exterior,dirty sick things,they don’t know what to do with,because they don’t understand growing,evolving,only increasing,gaining,being ‘awarded’,hence their devaluation and abandonment of their empath,all narcissist know is choose to do Nothing,pause,pose,hesitate…they are rather daft like that and not worth obsessing about,it’s just us empaths really love to give and expand for the sheer experience of it,I now prefer traveling and exploring new ‘spaces’ as an alternative ‘escape’,my travel destinations are my ‘twin flame’,a lot of synchronicities,busking in vibrations better than with some halfwit emotionally lazy guy…. 🤷‍♀️🤩

INFJ male here. Started watching your videos. Great job at articulating your ideas. Really well presented & it's cool to see someone else who I can relate to and understand so much. It makes me wonder how weird it would be to date another INFJ . Currently with an INFP gf and they get INFJs and are really attracted to them. INFP are cool but they get sad often and it can get annoying. But def both personalities are compatible. But for some reason I'm always attracted to ENFPs it seems Keep making more videos. I enjoy watching them!

Love by nature is selfless, it can't be forced or taken, only given. This choice is really unlike any other choice, because it requires freedom of expression to build confidence and trust in it's delivery, as well as vulnerability and openness to be received in it's full, inspiring growth and resilience. 🥰

Good morning... namaste...... I stumbled across your videos on KZread....you do a great job explaining your experiences'....I can relate to all your videos.. I experienced dark night of the soul after a twin flame experience....it lasted for about 4 years...I stayed single for almost 6 years because of it...she was the catalyst for my spiritual awakening....(which I don't talk about because not many would understand). I guess I just want to say thank you for helping other INFJ's understand what makes us tick..

Appreciate this comment, but what I say towards the end of the video is true! Focus on your inner work, and the limerence will dissolve. Then, someone new, who you can form a healthy connection with, is likely waiting around the corner :)

3:27 casually look at my clock and it's 5.55. These things are so strange to other people, that I don't even bother trying to explain it. They look at you like your off your nut. I tend to idealize everything, so I try not to get lost in these intuitive things I feel but ignoring them can cause so much pain as well. I am trying to experience these without outside validation now. How I am now with most people, is they wouldn't understand even if I could explain it logically, and I can't anyway so why try? If you speak, you do not know and if you know, you do not speak, at least with most people. Occationally, I will get a feeling like this person might actually understand what I want to say, but with every relationship and friendship, timing is so important. Just being in the same place, where you can both give and receive these things, is difficult in itself. Great video as always ♥

As an INFP I experienced this with an ex best friend. It was the hardest experience in my life, and something I don't want to experience again. Meeting an INFJ friend who looks almost like her was what brought me the final healing that I needed, actually. So with the INFJ it's like we have the healthy version of that friendship. We don't talk as much, but we don't fight either. :)

I can tell you must spend a lot of time carefully editing in all the graphics and video clips. Great job! I enjoyed them and the subject matter too.

I enjoyed your take on the subject matter discussed in your video. 👍It was informative, and the way you tied everything together flowed seamlessly. The romantic elements of my novel center around the twin flame dynamic and whether or not it is fate that compelled them towards one another. Is it random chance, free will choices, Devine guidance, or all three? After all, one cannot see the spiritual cues unless one is aware of the existence of such. And yet, if such signs have a tangible effect on our existence, would being unaware of them truly matter? Is it entanglement which requires a conscious observer? Perhaps, due to reading the signs, one could come to believe that a series of such signs had culminated into a moment to have been fated. However, left oblivious to such mechanisms of cause and effect, one could come to see the unforeseen manifest as a moment, so that they arrive at the same conclusion and call it fate. These thoughts plague my mind ceaselessly. I give over the interpretation to the reader, because the more I learn the less I realize that I know. That said, I believe that twin flames are akin to self-love. To recognize that in which you intrinsically love or admire in another, and vice versa, so that together you are able to call forth the best in one another, thus combining to embody the Devine balance of the universe. That is my very simplistic, likely flawed description of what twin flames mean to me. My thoughts on such things are ever evolving, as I seek out the insights of far greater minds than my own. Damn good explanation. The twin flame thing is misunderstood. You maybe happy for awhile until you realize you are growing apart because those differences were always there it just might not have been brought out.

Thanks Amy, Interesting topic. Those moments in time when all aligns? Maybe! I believe nothing is of "chance" and all "encounters" are lessons. An opportunity to learn about self. Ya ever get the feeling that the "role" that one plays, is actually scripted by someone or something and you're the last one to know the lines of the play? Several summers ago (2012) I dreamt of ghostly figures, led by 2 white horses coming out of a forest. The horses led the ghost to a lake side, then ran away. Soon two figures (Asexual) appeared emerging from the mist and they walked into the lake. One figure began to submerge (dunk and hold under) the other figure as if to drown. The dream was interesting to me and I painted (art) the imagery of the ghost following the white horses to the lake. Several months later and 3000 miles away, I saw the white horses at exit "11". I met two brothers who had a sibling rivalry going on. Oh, about seeing twins. I have had periods when I meet twins. I'm a twin (glad to know ya)!

That was deeply interesting to hear well presented. What I struggle with as it's like I find myself in the Grey area of a super empath or deeply routed and then I have times I say no I'm an INFJ. Seems over the last year plus I have all but fully withdrew myself from society as my weakness that seemed to always find a way to get me was and I know still is if I entered back in which people I either would meet or some yhat I knew all of them I saw as whom I hoped they to be rather than whom they truly were which always came at the very end as I had this I guess mental block which it would not be until they used me, took advantage, to have been stolen from or just knew my intent was truly that of good and they used that to gain selfishly and looking back I see clearly it was my fault for my mental block I suppose that now haven spent the last almost two years alone I now know but it's taken away my want to and taking the risk to trust and I've got to locate or find the right balance should I ever decide to date again. If you get this I'd be curious to know or your thoughts on the key traits that of the differences in a super empath type or my case very much a sigma empath as I have grown to become quite cynical especially when I write. So I care deeply and I want to make adifference in lives on a large scale so it like what Einstein said which I paraphrase "I hate people but I love humanity" but for many years I never considered myself an INFJ but the past two years I've debated myself and I still just don't know. If you have a free moment and you happen to read this, I would be deeply interested to hear your thoughts as to gain me possibly a new and fresh perspective on both types. I feel like I'm literally straddling the fence. You have a truly great channel. I know soon its going to be like you won the lottery. Overnight your growth will truly explode. I think that's awesome as it's just a matter of I think a very short time from now. Thanks for the support and comments! I try to respond when I find time. When it comes to the labels "empath", "INFJ", "sigma"... try not to get too hung up on them. They are tools, a classification system intended for self-development. You may find resonance with all three and that's perfectly good. If you want to try properly "typing" yourself with MBTI, there are several methods. Just check out the other popular KZread sites (Objective Personality was what I used plus several others). For INFJ, they are most recognizable by their Ni-dom, with an Fe auxiliary function. Read those descriptions on the web and see if they resonate. That's the best advice I have, others may advise differently.

OMG, even as a natural born psychic and aspirant of a spiritual philosophical system, I was hoping that it's impossible to get this type of relationship. This year from 8.8. I am experiencing it, with him, who I met first short in 1999, and who approached me later first in 2011 (then I just ran away from him sensing that incredibly strong bond). All what I have experienced this summer and autumn was just incredible and similar to your experience. We are both 44 and our astrology charts are mirroring each other too...

Hey from Hawaii! This video blew. my. mind! 🤯 I haven't met many people who know who Carl Jung is, none the less, care about synchronicities. I feel like the exact symbols we experience may be different per individual, but the idea that our higher selves use symbols as a medium to communicate with our physical self, is definitely something that's relatable to all of us in the mystic community. Which is why I think we INFJs find the topic of soul connections absolutely fascinating. It's so rare to find others who can relate to our perspective and "mystical" beliefs, that I suppose it can make the thought of finding a twin flame, soulmate, or kindred spirit extra enchanting for our personality type in particular. I have so many questions, but I'll just ask 2. Do you feel like INFJs are born or made? And do you believe souls keep their previous personality type after reincarnating? 🤔 Thank you for the awesome content Amy. These topics are so genuinely thought provoking I could watch them on repeat! I used to be close-minded to other beliefs until I learned about reincarnation. It really changed my life 😁

thanks for the support! I appreciate the comments :). For personality theory and how we inherit personalities, I really don't know. I believe we all need a healthy amount of empiricism to substantiate beliefs like that. Otherwise, they can only be theories. But i would say overall, I believe personality is a little of nature, nurture, and some divine orchestration.

@@amy-lyne Thanks for the feedback! I'm totally borrowing that term divine orchestration 😁 I've always considered science and spirit to be two sides of the same coin. And the first thing it brought to my mind was a kurzgesagt video about string theory. I went to college for architectural engineering, so I'm definitely no expert in particle physics, but in short, it's the idea that tiny one dimensional subatomic "strings" resonate at different frequencies to make up all matter in the universe... Like a universal orchestra. I'm not sure what made you decide to start posting your thoughts on KZread, but we're all so grateful you did 🧡

@@MRonyoutube I'm speaking for myself. I have had eras of life where I have behaved like a narcissist. To say that I am above any person moralistically just because I go by the label INFJ and align with the cognitive stack, would be an overgeneralization on my part. These are all just labels at the end of the day. The functions say nothing about my maturity level or internal motivations for being the "giver" in a relationship. A big discovery on my path was that codependents just display "selfishness" differently. The goal is to own it so you can both give and take as a free spirit. Of course this is a loaded topic, very complex... sometimes generalizing is necessary for 10-12 min videos :) haha.

Geminis are very Mutable and Adaptable and INFJs are Mirrors I Can go from 0-100 on the Empathy Scale like turning off a light switch depending on the Situation or Person I'm dealing with. Lol. But you stick an INFJ in a Corrupt/ Narcisstic environment long enough and over time it will rub off on them. Js Borderlines, Narcissists, Psychopaths, etc. have a place in our Lives as a counter balance or lesson. It just doesn't work for Romance!!! They actually can have a higher Respect as long as we enforce our boundaries and it's not an Intimate Relationship. We can teach them how to use their narcissism in a more positive way imo.

@@markrains6130 I've had lots of positive "narcisstist" friendships as well. People who are just more disagreeable/grounded/cynacle/masculine energy. I think there's a whole spectrum of things when it comes to "narcissism" from the medical definition of NPD to a certain type of energetic polarity.

@@amy-lyne INFJs are bilingual Thinkers and Feelers. The only archetype out of all 16 btw Of course we feel others emotional state with way more Intensity than ourselves if we're Clairsentient. I have several Claire dynamics This Thinking dynamic imo makes it much easier to be higher in (Healthy) Narcissism especially when ya combine our Idealism and Perfectionism I say "healthy narcissism" because INFJs are extremely high in Integrity. But they can be corrupted too. Some videos downplay our (almost) psychic abilities lol so we're not made out to be at odds w the crowd. After you've had thousands of premonitions, gut feelings, heart flutters, ringing ears, and future forcasting phenomenons ya laugh at all the Pattern Recognition talk. LMAO Phychic Phenomenon should become Normal. We all have it. If ya think about it we're all one of 16 different archetypes living on a Rock traveling at a high rate of speed out in the Middle of Space for Goodness Sakes 😂🤣😂

AMAZING I'm not even through the vid but i have to share this: I'm few months free from and slowly recovering from 22 and 11. Being discarded and hoovered for 22 yrs (infp) and 11 yrs (enfj) overlap, I guess i was being bought and sold back and forth isn't it ? These beings do not have pity, believe you in me. So, what would 11 and 22 mean in my story now that I'm free and aware of the vampires ? 🤔 I'm 48 yo. ( 46+2 ) 😉

I (infj) fell in love with a enfp. I have never felt so understood in my life. To bad she is a narcissist. It felt so real and it still hurts. She opened up alot of things about me I had suppressed for so long, like wanting a relationship. But now I just feel that much more lonely because I long for it.. But also fear it.

A weird thing is that I've always been kind of obsessed with numbers. I was born at 11:44 am on 11/22 (Nov 22). I think that's why, but in the past I was never really sure. I rememeber being told my birth time at a young age and recently confirmed/re-remembered it by getting the birth certificate. Guess I was always a bet skeptical. Still kind of funny how that works :)

I've been around and in Relationships w Borderlines, Narcissists, etc my whole life and I've only had one overwhelming gut feeling, heart flutters, and ringing in my ears about 1 person. (A non romantic female friend/bestie) that feels more like a sister. lmao I'm not rejecting or trying to debunk your ideas btw. I'm just trying to gather as much info as I can 👍 I mean dozens of relationships not just a few 👍

@@markrains6130 I've had similar encounters in unusual ways. Interesting bonds and connections with people and lots of cool ways the divine works in gathering people together, I believe. Apparently there are lots of "twin flame" cults out there who exploit people for money. So I'm trying to give an accurate representation of my experience... haha in that there was something interesting about the bond for sure but it was also not what those exploiters claim it to be.

@@amy-lyneThe minute I met her all of the 6th senses bells and whistles went off but it was never a romantic connection. They've never stopped and the gut always leads me to where I want to be 👍 It kicked off a spiritual awakening in me also. I saw all of the 😇 numbers and my intuition and 6th senses heightened too There are some Astrological similarities and alot of deja vu life experiences between us also. I can also feel her energy and emotions with much more intensity than anybody else by an incredible margin. And never any bad vibes in almost 3 years which is a phenomenon in itself for me. Lol We're both really intense warlike peeps. I'm a Scorpio Rising and She is the Scorpio Sun. Obsession is a Scorpios #1 trait. Ive seen some videos about twin flame and karmic phenomenon. Some say it's a romantic love and some say it's more divine. So I though I would ask about your experience. Do ya think your twin flame experience would have been different as just friends? Or was it more of a Romantic connection out of the gate.

@@markrains6130 sounds like a lovely connection you have. It's always interesting to read about other people's experiences with this sort of thing. For me personally, I have no desire to befriend my "twin flame". I'm pretty positive my experience was more akin to an "Animus projection" that Carl Jung talks about (I mention in my later Chameleon video). This person served as a gateway to my own inner alignment. I'm content with that being his only purpose in my life if I'm honest. If you have a "soulmate" connection, stick with them if they are supportive and caring. Ditch them if they're emotionally abusive, reckless, or immature in any way towards you (my case).

Has this ever been correlated with looking very similar facially, because you often see couples who look very similar? I cannot fathom how few people are aware of this phenomenon. It seems obvious to me.

@@amy-lynees, I met this girl recently, and I could tell very quickly that her facial features mirrored mine pretty well. So I have been pursuing her very carefully, and there have been several instances of staring which were quite intense and amazing. I still don't know how she feels abput me, but there does seem to be a natural attraction, and from my side I feel like I have fallen for her in a big way. I've never felt the way I do about her with anyone else. It's exciting and scary at the same time. I want to love her sooo much. I sense a spiritual awakening inside me.
