My favorite daily driver. It is tight and the awd is stupid fun.

I have the 2012 xS Coupe in Red. Modified the suspension and engine. I'm sorry but if you drive the car with the traction control off it's so fun to drive. I love the paddles and the dual clutch transmission. Traffic is easy in this car.

The IPL has every option you can get on an Infiniti G37 plus a lot more, the price of a fully loaded BMW 328i is $62,000 for the money the IPL is the better value if you want to look at it from a value perspective. This Infiniti rocks!

I know how to drive a stick, they are fun but a pain in the ass at the same time. For a weekend get away car, sticks are great. For a commuter car, impractical. How do you expect me to drive on the freeway in stop and go traffic holding my coffee while shifting with a stick?

Nice review Emme. The outtakes cracked me up. I miss my G37. Do not miss the 7-speed AT, though. In the 2009 model year it was a rough shifting mess. Hopefully, they got it sorted by 2013.

I just got a z, and went for the automatic. You can shift when you want and don't have to when your watching a DVD using the Nav system ect.

Go to settings above and put the vid on the slowest speed, then click 3:53 ... you're welcome. If you want the "Twin Peaks" experience, leave the sound on. Unless you have $1,000's to throw away to the Infiniti dealer for repairs to the computer and top, steer way clear of this money trap.

Its too bad that with the IPL tune making the car a bit torquier and almost 350 HP, the weight of that hard top makes it slower than the G sedan. Considering the regular coupe is already heavier than the sedan, having the douche... eeer, drop* top weighing you down further is a big downside.

another excellent review, you rock Question: i noticed the shoulder belt cutting into your neck and that you were actually leaning forward during the entire cabin shoot... do you NOT like to fully allow seat to fit you like a glove in cars such as this? i adjust everything, seat, wheel, body to become one.

I like the touch of purple, it shows a true sense of Emme's badassery. I think you'd be better off in the Fx50 or the M56xs. You just DON'T seem like a Inline, Boxter, or V style 6 cylinder kind of girl unless its turbo charged, in my opinion. Drive on.

Hi Emme I'm big into cars as well, one of my issue with these car manufacturers are the making of sport cars without offering third pedal manual option.. For example the new Ferraris and new Lamborghinis no real manual option. . Thank God for the new Viper and Corvette that you still getting a manual option...love your channel peace and much love to ya. .

It's a convertible. Still the 07 6 Speed G Sedan that we had also had mediocre trunk space for what it was. I mean I don't expect it to be big in the first place because it's a convertible.

Awesome review I was on the fence in regards to this car. I like the shifters and the 7 speed auto. But I'm not sure the price tag is just. So what convertible car in this price range or lower would you buy. I like the drive and I like the car toys as well (navigation backup cam etc. )

You should always put down the divider in the trunk before you put anything back there. Are the large icons difficult to read?

Obviously you don't know what you are talking about. When you put you luggage in the back with the top up, you left the boot up. you shoul have put the boot down. I can fit 3 carry ons in the trunk. I can fit 2 sets of clubs back there. I have had a G-37 since 2011 and love it. Never a problem with space of the car. Better than my old SL500 MB. The Navigation, by the way - is the best in the world. You are correct that the A/C and interior is awesome. The car is not for tall people. Why would you want to open the top when yoiu are moving? You can open it at 2-3 miles per hour.

I drove the non-ipl conv. and loved it! The lack of a manual isn't that bad given how well the auto works. Can you still get a ferrari in manual? Plus, for a daily driver, who wants a manual anyway (OK, I live in SoCal where traffic is a part of life). Though, I see your point, if I'm getting a "true" sports car (can a convert be a true sports car???) at least give me the option.

You obviously know nothing about the CVT -- specifically the Nissan CVT. They've already put one in the JX because it just makes sense than having a transmission that loses power every time it shifts gears. More than likely, they'll keep the 6MT but have the CVT as the automatic option. You should do your research before attempting to insult someone.

Holy crap $60k for a infiniti?! I'm a HUGE infiniti fan, owned a i30 before and now own a G35 sedan 6MT but I would never pay more than 45k for a infiniti. So many better cars out there for $60k.

Buy the Sport, a Stillen intake, an Eibach kit, swaybars, Hypertech tune, the IPL wheels on craigslist, IPL badge and save yourself $4k. Then buy a washer and dryer.

Do they have an IPL sedan?

No manual offered because infiniti is keeping up with the times. Most real race cars dont use manual shift anymore because it slows em down. paddle shift wayy faster. Not to mention the pain in the ass to constantly shift in traffic!! No thanks.

I like manual, but would rather have a sequential gear box. Drive one with a car to the limit and you will understand.

You just have to use the trunk as the laundry basket or suit case.

Your obsession with trunk space on a convertible is ridiculous; this is not a minivan! Why do you think the car does not look frumpy? It's because the trunk isn't puffed up to allow cargo to be carried around.
