TLDR e4 maintains 100% uptime on both speed and atk buff, e0-3 can maintain 100% uptime on attack buff only. The reason why hanyas e4 is so important is not for the atk buff, but the 100% uptime in speed buff so as to maintain a perfect speed tuning, for example letting a DPS completely forsake spd boots the entire fight, not so much the 100% atk buff uptime. E0-3 is good, but e4 is still game changing and I wouldn’t recommend players to build an E4 Hanya without a 3t ult rotation. Goodnights and love yall, thanks for the thought provoking theory!

About Hanya's technique, it's actually got an interesting use according to Dreamy. She says if you put it on a trash mob in MoC it lets you use a basic attack with Hanya at the start, then a second ally gets a hit in, the third ally kills the mob, and that's 3 SP right at the start of the fight. And you won't even have to worry about overflow since you're definitely using a skill in their somewhere, from your sustain and/or assist character if nothing else

Hanya with Bronya LC is kinda fun. Speed tuning is still helpful but in moments where you want to guarantee the 50% damage buff from Bronya's LC, you just need to cast Sushang's ult during Hanya's turn to guarantee the 50% damage buff xD

E4 isn't all that important given you can achieve 100% uptime with a 3 turn ult rotation without having E4 (since the buff ticks down on the start of the DPS' turn, you just have to ult on your DPS' turns, but before their action, to extend the buff duration to 3 turns at E0). All E4 provides is comfort, autobattle effectiveness, and/or the possibility to run 100% uptime 4 turn rotations and potentially drop Energy stats in favour of more speed (better substat pieces) or BE/dmg stats in a sub DPS build.

Hanya's E4 lowers Memories/Coggers value since you no longer need a 3T rotation for a 100% uptime on Ultimate. Other lightcones can provide more values (extra SP, Advance Forward, DMG% buff etc.)

@@aleksandar2046 Go test it yourself, this is not true. The ult expires after the target’s third action; thus, the target gets 3 full turns of the atk buff (100% uptime). However, the spd buff does not accelerate the target after this third action, meaning they spend one turn at normal spd. It is NOT possible to have 100% uptime on the spd buff with a 3T rotation at E0, and this myth needs to stop being perpetuated.

I think she works quite well with Clara + Topaz team tho Planetary to buff Clara, Ult to buff ONLY Topaz speed (unlike Asta) and Burden to buff both All that while allowing you to spam skills = more damage and energy on both

It's alright, but tingyun is just so freaking godly with Clara I don't think it's worth. Like if you also have huo huo than Clara will almost always have her enhanced counter ready.

@@itsame7491 Tingyun is for hypercarry Clara tho, Hanya is better for dual carry. Getting counters/ult uptime isnt a big deal with Lynx supporting Clara as well.

@@danielcarrilho5217 the ult more than doubles the damage of Clara's counters, even in dual carry Clara just out damages topaz. At tht point you are just better of maintaining Clara ult. While mumby could deal like 30-40k on one enemy Clara will do like 60-80k if you were to give her the buffs. I ain't saying you can't run hanya, it's just often not worth it to go for her over ting. It would be different if she also had some sort of follow ups in her kit but Clara's damage going from 60k to 10k just ain't worth man.. Not to mention if needed you can just pivot and buff topaz instead with tingyun, in single target cases where you are taking more turns. Which will give topaz more ult uptime meaning more frequent follow ups. Hanya is alright, tingyun is just stupid good with both Clara and topaz, and also every other unit in game

I used Hanya with Jingliu, but with Huo Huo and Bronya as the supports. And the result is very satisfying since my SP will be almost at 3-5 every time, considering both Huo Huo and Bronya are more SP hungry than the Jingliu herself.

Literally fixing your skill (point) issue

I have a question, i have Clara, Asta, Topaz and Fuxuan in the same team, should I replace Asta with hanua in that team?

Ignoring good multipliers goes against my principles, I already had to compromise with Asta and Pela out of urgency to use the characters, so I'm building Hanya as dps. I'll get her to a point she can even just buff herself and take over.

Some pretty nice comps at the end there. I don't have DHIL or Argenti but the Seele one looks interesting, too bad my Seele is surgically attached to Fu Xuan cause she needs the extra CR to activate Rutilant 😂 I'd be interested in some more wacky double DPS teams to try as well. It's too bad Hanya's ult is only for single target, but then again she would be disgustingly broken if it affected the whole team lol

I've been running E0 Hanya with DHIL and it's been so smooth on auto-battle allowing him to 3 enhance basic every turn. The only problem is Hanya tends to mark any mob with physical weakness and not the main elite enemy of the stage.

You really need to explain how the duration of her ultimate doesn't count down if used on the target character's turn. It's possibly the biggest oversight I've seen in any of your guides to date. Her E4 might make things comfier or even allow her to get away with less ER, but it is not necessary for 100% uptime.

You love to see it. My hanya is built with 150% break effect (S5 Memories) on Hackerspace + Penacony ERR rope and at 162 spd. And even if shes E0, I love using her with my DHIL

Is Asta still preferable on a Kafka + DoT Sub DPS team? cuz I've been running Hanya with Kafka + Sampo/Guinafen + Sustain and it's honestly been a very amazing experience because of Skill point positivity. I would like to hear a bit of your opinion about comparing Asta and Hanya on a Kafka DoT team comp if you don't mind. Also looking respectfully :)

I’d prefer if you could show different information on the screen/graphics than the „script“ that you’re reading from. For example to show bullet points of the information you’re giving instead of the whole text

When her skill had 3 stacks in beta she was legitimately the best 4 star in the game by a significant margin

Sorry I just have to say one thing as I've just started the video. I highly recommend players do NOT just "get yourself a copy" if you're looking to get Hanya, or any 4* in this game for that matter similar to Genshin. You can get lucky and get her really quickly, but because there isn't a pity on getting a specific 4*, you can absolutely blow dozens, if not over 100 pulls and not get the 4* you want. You could easily ruin a 5* guarantee or end up with a unit you weren't really excited to pull for. IMO it's healthier to pull for 5* and just treat any 4* on the banner as a nice bonus. If you are trying to get a specific 4*, just know it's easy to get burned. Anyways, back to the video...

@@MrNoUMr I wouldn’t recommend it since hanya’s buff alone won’t be enough. Blade also has almost no buffs aside from dmg%, while imbibitor is starved of buffs from a 2nd support. Welt do be hitting mad hard once u invest in him :)

getting her energy trace to fully proc is suuuuper unrealistic due to how her sp regen works. if your team is hanya -unit -unit -unit, they all need to do damaging hits in order for it to proc, if not you'll need a damaging ult the rotations that she doesn't. it's all rather eh.

What a disappointing unit. I have DHIL so I should care about skill points. But I'd literally rather have any other support than hanya... her skill doesn't generate 2SP it "generates" 1 with some speed tuning. Guesd what also generates 1SP? Yukong E6 with planetary rendezvous...

@@mrpokkee Rather have pela for vuln or SW for pseudo mono imaginary.. and since I run E2 DHIL (slow) hanya's skill seems like an absolute pain to manage for the equivalent of one regular attack. I just don't see the upside of the kit. If her skill generated 3 sp it would be a completely different story

5+(5*19.4%)+(3*(38+(38*19.4%))) = 142.1 38 = 30 (energy from skill) + 4 (energy from passive, 2 per skill point generated) + 4 (energy from S1 Memories of the past) 19.4% = Energy from just a rope, no energy set 5 = energy refunded after using ult TLDR with an energy regen rope you only need s1 memories of the past to get your ult up in 3 turns, provided you skill every turn. I'm tired of CC's thinking i have 95 copies of Memories of the past just lying around. Correct my math if its wrong.
