Just make sure that you pick another one off the ground instead of equipping a new one if you don’t want to lose a slot 😄 You can do it with less than 4 mission guns but it takes longer because you will only be able to do 1/2/3 items at a time (I actually only had 3 in this video!) If you want to pick up weapons, just swap to one of the trash weapons you looted while getting the inventory space and hold interact to swap the item directly into your hands It’s useful to fill up your inventory with Class mods/shields/relics/grenade mods/etc otherwise you wont be able to pick any of them up. If you want to get more spaces for anything that’s not a gun, for instance shields, swap to a different character and place as many shields as you want into the stash, then go back to the character with the big inventory and swap the shields from the stash with some guns in your inventory. Then if you find a shield you want, just equip it and hold interact to drop the trash one on the ground and equip the good one You will NOT be able to pick up head or skin drops These inventory spaces are NOT permanent, if you drop any items, you are essentially reducing your max inventory and will have to do this again to get those spaces back Yes I’m aware of hex editors and gibbed, but not everyone wants to/has access to those and especially on console

You can grenade jump by swapping the one you're using with a placeholder grenade mod, drop it from the inventory screen, do the necessary grenade jump and then you replace it by looting any grenade mod you find (or the same one you dropped if it's still accessible) and swap it with the one you were using before. The same applies when you need to sell unwanted gear, if you sell any equipped item you don't lose inventory slots.

you can also sell guns and buy them back while your inventory is full for the same effect

I didn't do the glitch but what i did was when my inventory was full every time I got a weapon as a reward it gives me an extra space so I'd pick up a legendary weapon and swap over a terrible weapon and what ever terrible weapon i had in my hand I'd just drop it also i keep a lot of trash weapons so i could swap them out for guns I wanted after like 3 play throughs i have hundreds of inventory space

@@mrtx01 yeah I wasn't really bothered at the time because it was my 4th time starting a new character that was max level but it works if you don't want to use glitches or anything

The inventory is one of my biggest gripes with this game compared to the first one

Yeah borderlands 1 knew that it was a looter shooter where you’d be picking up a ton of guns. I don’t know who decided the game that was advertised with a “bazillion” guns should have 39 inventory spaces. And maybe Im misremembering but I think the inventory cap was actually lower but they added more when some of the DLC came out

wisps are a lot faster but this is valid

you can actually still grenade jump by placing the grenade you want to unequip on the side bars next to the inventory slots

i love my salvador with 1600 guns in his inventory

In bl1 it’s even easier just add a second controller get the Sdu save the second character then close the game so only the character saved and not the mission then repeat but in bl2 somehow you can pass max ammo without cheating idk how tho but my brother ended up with what seemed to be like 4 extra launcher sdus

Glitched mine so much I had 600+ guns in my inventory and could only go through it if i filtered by type or something, otherwise I’d never find anything I was looking for

Eayser way is to just use a marcus vending machine and sell your holding items then buy them back.

Will the borderlands community ever stop finding things ?

Or you could go in normal mode so some stuff until you’re at 38 inventory slots and buy a weapon and then buy back your other gear or get mission rewards and save them until you want to switch them out for better gear

Theres a better glitch ive done since bl2 came out on ps3 it was never patched what you can do is sell your weps or whatever you have equiped at a vender than go pick up the weps ect you want and re buy the weps thus putting them in the inv.

sell equipped items. buy them back. they go to your inventory. doing the most for what? i did this before i got my hands on mastercopies

Can you not just complete side missions and just drop you're older loot from the equipped slots?

At around 270 your game crashes

A lot of players want to carry more items than max backpack space allows. This is helpful for those players who don’t have access to mods and hex editors

What u dont have master copies I have at least 30 of them

No I didn’t even know what those were until about 3 weeks ago somehow, but I’m a PC player so I just modded my inventory to what I like 👍

Ever since the handsome collection came out, almost everyone that owns a console has the games
