dusting off this series i started awhile ago: the infinite formchange hack is done by using a save editor to skip story flags to prevent Sora from learning how to use formchanges, preventing him from gaining (and losing!) formchange meter. combined with the hacked shortcuts, I can enter formchanges indefinitely until I use their respective finish commands. if you have any suggestions for other bosses I should do with certain formchanges, let me know and I'll consider it for the next one

Dark Form vs Ansem SOD. I still can't wait for hacking that lets us put the other playable characters in these fights, but for now, the Dark form vs Ansem SOD matchup will be enough to satisfy that Riku vs Ansem SOD fight I crave for.

I like how Second Form had the snappiest combos in KH3 until the 1.08 patch and it became possible to dodge cancel out of combos

Yeah, almost like it was intentional and not a coincidence. Almost like Osaka knows what the flip they're doing. Which, if they did, would make this an even bitter reminder that we'll never get Tokyo games ever again.

@@redhanded3 it probably was a thing but it lacked... Speed? The faster combos from the new abilities makes everything feel smoother including dodging out of combos

@@redhanded3 That was only 1 of many complaints about the "floaty" gameplay. If you want to get better informed, look at BloodyBizkit's KH Talk videos. (They usually cover this stuff real well) The TL;DR is that the Current KH Staff fails to replicate the OG gameplay cause they don't understand we want the old game's handling. (not the flashy combo stuff)

I'm pretty sure those are suppose to be the electrocution walls he uses in previous games but Square Enix prolly thought that'd be over kill

Tbh this is something I wish Osaka added in Update 1.07. Some kind of modifier that lets you freely change how a specific spell (not counting Cure) works. I know that every spell in Base Form has some kind of secondary use (Fire can bounce off walls, Blizzard has Flowmotion trails, Water has some i-frames), but they still feel a bit samey in base. It makes sense that the different magic types were locked into Formchanges, but tbh would've loved to use the Promixity-Style Firaga in Base Form... I may have ranted here a bit... Sorry.

Here's my suggestions: Young Xehanort with Toy Story keyblade. Vanitas with Monstropolis keyblade. Repliku with Big Hero 6 keyblade. Terranort with Olympus keyblade (because of the rush counterattack of the kb and the guardian make for a great Jojo reference). Saïx with Chef keyblade (fight fire with fire). Marluxia with Corona keyblade. Larxene with Frozen keyblade. Luxord with PotC keyblade. Xigbar with Twilight Town keyblade. Ansem with Oblivion. Xion with Oathkeeper. Master Xehanort with Unlimited keyblade work aka Ultima.

Doesn’t have the same feel or look as it did in KH2. Gives me the same vibes as magic shot, just not satisfying when you hit someone with it. I think what would have made it better is if it stun locked them for about four to five hits, doing moderate damage. Then it launches them

Really wish the final blow freezeframe lasted longer like in kh2

It helps at the beginning but you’re bound to get Keyblades with better forms. It’s still handy and has snappy combos, but unless you know how to work the situation gauges (I didn’t at first, at least not effectively) you won’t be seeing Ars Arcanum that much. It’s a solid all around form I’d say, was the form I used most too. It’s just base Sora with a different moveset, three finishers and stun+HP reduction protection. Personal favorite is Highwind though

Seeing this vid really makes me wish you could increase the duration of your formchanges.

I feel like the counter kick is cheating in regards to "KH2" style, maybe the AOE reprisal would be like Reflect? But it doesn't matter, cool video! How bout showing Young Xehanort how to whip with the Yo Yos? Or claws only with Larxene? Rage Form only for Data Xehanort? 😭😂 also how about turning off certain movement abilities? Not necessarily for challenge, but I've found that turning off Doubleflight is pretty good for Data fights. Let's you Glide way easier. Also consider turning off Superjump and (all but one) of the flowmotion slides so that you exit the vulnerable state at the end of flowmotion faster.

It lowkey bugs me how everyone acts like second form legit makes the game play feel like KH2. It still 100% feels nothing like 2 the combos just LOOK like they are from 2. Either way awesome vid

Are people making that claim? It’s rose tinted goggles because of speed and some of the aerial combos. Really what makes Second Form so good is that it has speed and is one of the few Keyblades that will still let you risk dodge.. I’m not super big on ripple drive for single targets, that’s just me. Still like second form despite these issues

I have the save wizard for ps4, and I don't recall having formchange codes for KH3. I don't know how he did this. It's insanely cool to be able to do this.

I feel like i'm the only one that preffered xemnas' theme in kh2 more than any other. The newer violin parts just feel like filler flex that dont add anything

I’m still wondering why Pro codes are there for a trophy but you can’t trade points in for a reward that’s relative to your rank. KH3 even with DLC felt lacking in terms of some abilities with Sora, would be nice if at the very least you could trade points to get an ability that would at _least_ extend your form change time..
