Beautiful combination of principles. Just got mine. Funny how, despite all the knuckle busting sleights and all the fancy gimmicks, people still respond so well to the basics. "The sponges appeared in MY hand.....my initials appeared in the ashes on his arm..... the one card I was thinking of was in the matchbox I was holding the WHOLE time..... and so on. Funny what they selectively remember as well. :)

I love how this engages the participants. I love that it shows just the one card. I love that Joshua Jay just left that card in their hands, and walked off.

Great effect! I would do this effect in a heart beat. If you do not like the "reason" why the paper clip is used...use your imagination and change it...hell...Joshua has done ALL the thinking for you up to this point. Sheesh!

There is no stooge involved, you can perform this effect for a single spectator and he will not believe his eyes!

You want to keep the card well folded inside the matchbox so that it is not revealed too early when ditched out. You might run while not being chased here...

童乙 Why do you guys get turned off by a fucking method? It got voted as "trick of the year" has the best equivoque that has ever existed and is in such a low price. Yeah, you'll propably not fool magicians with it, but it kills for laymen. Stop seeing everything from the "magician's perspective" and you'll see that you will succeed!

There is more than one out, you remove the other outs, using the paperclip as an excuse to put your hand in your pocket and ditch them.

Why is it when you ask do you want to burn the numbers or the court cards, if they say the number cards you say right those are burned. Then continue with the courts. If they say the court cards you say right those are burning on the fire you have to save one. Either way they have to chose a court card and you repeat the same dodge to end up with a queen. It just looks like equivoke to me. Why do we have to pay £30 for a simple magicians choice effect?

@@CardSharkGermany I've seen two different presentations, one by Josh and one by Chris, Magic Geek. They ask which you want to burn number or picture. In one case they said number and those were burned and gone, so onto burn the picture and chose one of them. In the other case they said picture and those were burned but then you had to chose which picture was to be saved. So either way it ends up picture and then queen. Just equivoke really. Don't be in denial. It seems a lot to pay for equivoke. Maybe £10 would be more appropriate. Also, if you read through the threads there it's pretty much exposed. I don't know about the Magic Cafe, it should be called the Magic Exposure Forum!
