Oh! And another tip I forgot to mention in the video! If you cant use latex AND you can't find transfers, you can use the same technique I used in the toxic mermaid tutorial to make the gelatin scales.. to make little gelatin boils. Just make the drops all different sizes and space them accordingly. :)

My cork grease for my saxophone looks and smells like they got peppermint Chapstick and put a different label on it. I had some actual peppermint Chapstick to compare them and they smell exactly the same. I told my friend and she took it and put some on her lips. Afterwards she licked her lips and said they tasted like normal Chapstick. Then she forced me to put some on so if she died I would too. This was three weeks ago. We still aren't dead. Thank music instrument supply thingy for being so hardworking. Oh yeah and I'm going to get green glitter just so you don't have to be alone, Mykie. Just remember; WE'RE ALLLLLLL IN THIIISSSSS TOGETHERRRRRRRRRRR!

Quirky and loveable signature look aside, these Neon Zombaes are actually an ingenious way to teach techniques without tripping the gag reflex, making family and/or roommates seriously worried about your mental health, etc. I *am* seeing neon/pop art zombie makeups all over YT now, though. Did Mykie have the original concept, or was it around before that pink zombae?

THANK YOU. This is why I wanted to do a series like this and some people are whining about not seeing more direct remakes of looks. These techniques (and the others coming) can be used in a million different ways and the neon was so that it wasn't just a straight gore fest for people who can't look at stuff like that. But to answer your question, no, I didn't invent the pop art zombie. They've been done for a long time in art and makeup. Samantha's pop art zombie and other notable ones came before my takes on them. :)

Mykie is the only youtuber that I'd watch the old content of, the quality in her videos is beautiful no matter what year they're made!!

I plan to do this year what I didn't do last year, my zombie panda. I didn't do it because I got lazy and just sat around in a panda onesie, so I will try to do it more gore like using some of these techniques.

I would actually like to see this technique with the "normal" colors as well!

spirit halloween sells this stuff called "zombie rot". its like a green powder stuff and you can mix different ratios of water to the powder to make almost a "pus". one part of the directions can suggest making it like an applesauce consistency. even though the stores are closed for the season, you can still access it online :3

The effort put into her videos really makes them stand out above the rest. I don't even have any interest in trying to do fx makeup (it is pretty cool though) but I still watch pretty much every video she puts out.

about seven years ago she used it in a tutorial and ever since, in almost every tutorial sftrr that, you will find a fleck of green glitter either in her hair, on her skin or something. glitter is like the herpes of cosmetics/art....it can and will get everywhere or pop up inrandom places and keeps coming back 😂

Thank you for a diverse range of zombaes!! There was black light room in the haunted warehouse I worked for and it was the most successful at scaring the bajesus out of people. And it was the most fun to make. I used the tattoo prosthetics for blisters and silver/gold scarring. Looooved everything about these looks.
