Wow! So much conversation about IM. All the likes/dislikes, complaints, and comparisons drawn to CV, Vicious Delicious, Black Shawarma, and older IM stuff... People here saying they sold out to dubstep then came back, sold back out to psytrance now after doing CVII, sold this sold that... A true Infected fan knows that every album, they just do whatever the fuck they want and it comes out fucking insanely awesome. If you don't like it now, wait a few years and the shit will grow on you like a fungus. Then you realise, "yes, yet again, this album is another goddamn masterpiece." They never sold out to anything or anyone, they just do whatever! You might not like the new sounds they come out with. Well that's because nobody's used to their stuff when it comes out. It's completely new! They never do the same thing for more than a year. That's how their wheels turn. When you understand this, you will realize Infected never changed. Theyre the same crazy motherfuckers who've been turning the world upside down for the past TWENTY god damn years. All they did was age like a fine wine. True masters of their craft. Fucking legends. Erez, Amit, just keep doing what you do. I'ma sit back and be happy to be alive while it's happening.

I completely agree with you. I stopped listening to IM way back when they got into dubstep, remembered how good they were recently and found Return to the Sauce. They haven't lost any of their talent, in fact they seem more sophisticated now. It's amazing.

I saw them at the Rawkus in Colorado Springs. I thought it was still part of the Converting Vegetarians 2 tour - but I was so wrong. Heard some of this before the album dropped and thought they were just tearing a live show up. Now back for my 6-7th time to hear this album. Soo good! Get chills at certain parts, much beat, so stellar, wow! Doing a dance.

the first time i heard infected mushrooms i was decently drunk and smoked some weed and i bugged out a bit while spacing out and told my friend to pause it. when he did my vision kind of warped and waved around and settled back down to normal and then he could unpause it. the music sent me on a wave of emotions and minor mind effects.

Of course Friend on Mushrooms is stronger. It's collaborations, not just about IM music. This album is an amazing throw back to the days of old. I love the newer stuff, Send me an Angel, Serve my Thirst and the entirety of Black Shwarma, but there is always a special place in every old IM fan's heart for The Gathering, Classical Mushroom and CV: Trance side. This album fits perfectly beside those.

Well yes, that's true, but imo this album is good, but not great. What I believe made IM amazing are their vocals, my favorite songs like Becoming Insane, Saeed, Send Me An Angel, I Wish :) and more... I am missing those vocals here, sure there are some in Groove Attack and Demons of Pain but I expecting more. Good album, strong songs, nice touch, but not the best... ps My all time favorite track is Cities of The Future..ah memories :)

With the art of music they have not only created a new genre, but a new world for our minds to wander.

Ive been an Infected fan since '98 n I definitely think this was their best album.

Man this album never gets old, so much small little details that make this a perfect album for me. Almost every other music gets boring and repetitive over time, but this always feels fresh for me. I come back to this almost every day! Always gives me a good mood :)

As usual, every IM"s composition incorporates musical materials that can be easily enough for a whole album of any average DJ.

I hope they release a sequel to this album like they did with CV. Return to the Sauce 2 is probably higher on my wishlist than CV3, which is saying a lot. I go to sleep hearing Manipulator or Milosh playing in my head, and literally the second I open my eyes in the morning, it’s still playing in my head. These are truly infectious tunes. I cannot get them out of my head! Thanks for the infection. This whole album rocks so fucking hard

Where normally I listen to certain songs for a while and eventually get bored of them, this album (and the artist in general) keeps me coming back. It never bores me, it always sounds new, always as epic and magical as it is. Truly a masterpiece.

This project and Pendulum are the only two major forces to reintroduce rock elements into contemporary electronic music.

If one ever does psychedelics, this is the stuff. Genius.

I remember when this came out I was instantly enchanted. Listening to it again all these years later I can see why. I'm falling in love with IM all over again. I can listen to this album on repeat for hours and not get sick of it.

I saw Infected Mushroom live at the beginning of December of 2016, and they opened with "Nutmeg". It was the first time I'd heard it, because this album hadn't been released yet, and I remember that the bass was absolutely fucking insane because this wasn't an Infected Mushroom *concert* where they had full instrumentation, it was just Amit and Erez doing a live DJ set in a nightclub in downtown Madison, WI. They also covered a SOAD song later on in the set, but I don't remember which one. Overall, fantastic show. At one point they overloaded the building's power and in doing so shut down the entire stage. Amit came up to the people in the front row and gave a bunch of high-fives, basically saying, "Sorry about the interruption of the set, we'll have shit back up any minute now."

Best Album 2017 for me. This Album is absolutly outstanding. It is not just a compilation of songs, its a Journey thru the spirit of psychedelic progressiv psytrance. And a selfreflection of the evolution of this Artist. It is so perfect arranged, this is real art. My greatest respect, its medicin for my soul.

My boss played the whole album at work one day and honestly? It was one of my favorite days at work

Yeah me too, I only think Friends on Mushroom as a whole was a bit of a let down (I still liked them all, and some of the tracks a lot, it didn't really felt like a full on experience tho I had with other albums), but other than that one, I am always amazed by everything IM brings out.

I've just arrived from the slightly more soundscapey/downtempo side of psytrance (Shpongle, Ott etc)... and WHOA the energy of this UNREAL. I never knew this is what I needed so badly, dayum...

I discovered their music a few days ago and i can't stop binge listening to all the albums OWO aaaaa so good!!

I think Return to the Sauce is my favorite. Beautiful melodies and chord progressions, fabulous sound design.

WTF this mesmerize me... Flamingo mix power metal influences whit elctronic elemets, and that is simply amazing.

After I bought this album CD, (Amazing music and art, BTW,) and I put it on my phone, somehow the "o" on "Flamingo" was cut off on my phone. So now, for all my phone knows, the song is called "Flaming". Lol.
