if you think about it Sucker Punch and Naughty Dog are kind of similar. both started off with great cartoony plat formers Sly Cooper and Crash Bandicoot, and now they have both gone onto make great more mature games. Infamous and Uncharted

Don't forget that Infamous 2 included a demo play of Uncharted 3 multiplayer. And that Uncharted 2 had a Cole McGrath skin for its multiplayer. So they definitely do support each other. Soon we'll get some unholy orgasmic game from these two development teams.

This is my favorite Second Son trailer. I love the part when Delsin gets up at 0:28. The particle effects in this game are beyond gorgeous.

I was sad , because I was watching and not PLAYING ! now I have a ps3 :) I played to the same game and its like 2 different things ! you have to feel it ! ;) watching and doing , having the control to move , shoot , jump , live and more is different ! watching is good , but playing to the game is different! its better :) :D

Not a very high bar to reach, marvel movies are just empty entertainment for children and families

An awesome way to integrate the touchpad in this game, and I really hope they do this, is if you can switch between powers using the touchpad by swiping across it. If Sucker Punch did this it would make switching powers smoother and it would allow for great chains of different powers. For example after Delsin has run up a wall using neon you could easily swipe the touchpad and have him use his smoke powers to fly through the air.

You switch powers by draining the power that you want to equip. For instance if you're using smoke, and then want to switch to neon, you would have to drain some neon. If they would do that, with the swipe over the touchpad, it would become a little bit impossible, since I think there's a minimum of 5 power types.

Yes but they could easily have the touchpad register different directional swipes. For example smoke could require you to swipe diagonally down the touchpad. Then for neon just swipe across west. Then for another power swipe east. Then another swipe south east e.t.c Also if there were lots more power the touchpad could just register shapes so if you drew a circle on the touchpad it could change to electricity or something... I hope they bring back that power. I suspect Xbox will be able to have functions like this with its exclusives using kinect voice commands. May not be that efficient but who knows.

Riwin Frederick It has head tracking more like posture tracking. when you lean left in Forza 5 you'll look left and in BF4 you lean around corners.

He has more than JUST smoke and neon. the developers have said you will have multiple powers. Delsin will meet many conduits in the game which he can absorb from.

Freaking love the new character... it adds so much to the game. When he gets shot at the start of this trailer... that shit is just instantly classic!

Nice to see gamers are starting to feel comfortable with Delsin as a new character for InFamous. When Second Son was announced I saw so much complaints about no Cole. Can't wait to see what other tricks Delsin has up his sleeve.

This game is the best Infamous game to date. I hope they build on Delsin as a character. He was far more interesting than Cole. In which, must I say, they need a sequel to this. Living near Seattle, they designed Seattle perfectly.

Damn... Troy Baker's voice acting is FANTASTIC. Then again, I never doubted that he would do a good job - I mean, the man has voiced Kanji Tatsumi, Joel, the Joker in Arkham Origins, and loads of other characters.

Sucker Punch should have an incredibly destructive power that's fun to use for evil Deslin or something very cool and unique.

When Delsin flew up in the air and came falling down with such speed and force in the last trailer, it showcased the amazing environmental attacks Delsin can do! Also, I'm not sure if you know this, but when you actually do those kinds of moves, the damage that appears from it stay there for the rest of the game. Like they actually don't go away! I think that's pretty cool that the game has that ability to make that permanent.

I was not expecting him to become the rainbow warrior.

WOW I don't even have a PS4 yet but I'm going to pre-order this!

I don't care if you are new to Playstation or not/ never played the Infamous series, EVERYONE needs to get this game. Sucker Punch is a great studio, and the first two Infamous games were outstanding. If this gets anything less than 8s across the board on gaming websites I will be honestly shocked.

At the beginning I'm sitting here waiting for the video to load as I whisper "come on Delsin be more of a badass" and I got my wish

Delsin looks like he's going to be a much more likeable character than Cole. Cole never really wanted his powers and was always kind of a downer. This reminds me of Spider-man with the joking around and having fun with his powers.

Cole kind of reminded me more of the Marvel hero, Wolverine. Gotta give him some credit though on the Infamous 2, he was a little bit more focused on powering up to defeat the Beast rather than complaining about having powers. Delsin is the type who is like Spider-Man, a bit arrogant and has fun with his powers. I cannot wait what Second Son has in store for us for Delsin's journey.

I liked Cole for exactly that reason. He's just a dude that was suddenly imbued with the abilities of a god, he didn't really know what was going on.

Man I’m playing this game in 2022 and looks amazing, specially this neon power, I’m in love with it

the cover song was done pretty good. No body will replace or sound as good as the Original Nirvana and Kurt Cobain group though. Glad my favorite song from my favorite band is in this game. and will be buying this game just because of that reason really.

Dead Sara is one heck of a band, though. The only Nirvana cover I consider listenable. Look them up.

It's been a while since the Tony Hawk's Proskater series, we definitely need a proper punk-themed game again.

i like how he actually enjoys his powers, it brings a lighter feeling to the story, im sure there will still be some drama like how he said i have to fix this, but compared to infamous' usually darker side i like the change in atmosphere

Considering that the PS4 has better hardware than the PS3 I would expect that they would make it larger, but if they keep it traditional then it will be split into multiple parts; they could make more parts or just make the parts larger. I hope for more parts since that would probably mean there is more gameplay.

If this one sells well (because we already know it will be an amazing game) i think we can expect a movie adaptation. There are so many being made right now, that it's plausible. But the games are undoubtedly better than any superhero entertainment out right now. It's such a good idea that really only X-men comes close to.

I couldnt get into TLOU. and Beyond two souls is nothing but QTE. Killzone got boring for me but Uncharted 4 looks promising! but inFamous has been my go to title for anything Sony. Just always drew me in.

Jake Thomas Yeah, Ik it's filled with effects but it isn't as open as inFamous has been. i don't even care for resolution. if i want to worry about pixels i would play on my PC. But idk, TLoU just didn't capture me personally. good game just not my play-style you know?

Well good thing that there will be many types of powers in this one, I just hope that electricity manipulation is still in this. Also I'm hoping I can change the protags clothes. :D

I'm pretty sure SP said that there was no electric power set in this one. But you can change Delsin's clothes, or at least his jacket. You can even get Cole's jacket from the first game.

Fuck yeah, time to run as the Flash, full of lights around me! Well, maybe not as fast, but hey, Neon superspeed it's still gonna be badass!

My Awesome PS4 list of games to buy will consists of Infamous second son, Uncharted 4, Kill Zone Shadow Fall, The Order 1886, Kingdom Hearts 3 and Metal Gear Solid Ground Zero. :)

Delsin is one of the absolutely coolest characters in any media.

Im excited as hell for this game. After all, the inFAMOUS franchise is the reason Im getting a PS4. The only thing that Im disappointed about is that the game will on play in 30 fps :/.

30 fps is still smooth... and the game developers can add more to the visuals with 30fps compared to 60 fps so the graphics will be as unbelievable as possible.

People will never be pleased with the result no matter which direction they take. They make it 60 fps and it means the graphics will have to be toned down resulting in people saying they suck, the only other way to retain 60 fps and keep the graphical quality is to reduce it to 720p, and we all know that's also going to result in people whining about the game.

I'm kinda depressed that they post a trailer showing off some really fun stuff you can do in this really badass looking game that's coming out and the comments section is down there bitching about frame rate.

Infamous has been a favorite of mine forever, at least since my bro and I got Infamous 1 for free because of that PSN crash back on PS3. But either way, I played through the original like 13 times, and was happy when I realized here was a second. In 2014 when I was serious about gaming, I saw Second Son, and it has a warm place in my heart. Please do something like this again Sucker Punch 👊.

Has anyone else considered this new character might have the powers of the beast? He may not be a giant but his base power is burning ash and he can drain powers from other conduits without the help of a machine. At some point you might even be able to give powers to others. And don't forget that the first suns were a shadowy organization in the first game. The second sons are likely the true enemies in this game. Maybe they built or are building a new ray sphere. BOM, BOM, BOMMMM!

John Maurice yet, in the good ending, Sucker Punch teases us with giving a question-mark shaped lightning, somehow prompting question like "do you think he is dead for sure?".

Looks amazing! I really hope the song of this trailer is in the final soundtrack of the game! It would be awesome to play it with this amazing Nirvana cover!

Since the Good ending is the default for the game's story they should do a DLC based on the Evil ending where Cole is king.

Completely a matter of opinion, and I say its still too early to say. Though MS is going to have to push more exclusives than they did last Gen, that is true. Still im personally looking forward to QuantumBreak, next-Gen Halo and for me DR 3 looks like the most interesting launch game. But ye, I'm going to get both consoles once again, I see no reason to favor one console over the other, when you can have both ;)

Cant wait to pick up a PS4 and this game. The first Infamous is still in my top 10.

Real time, I played one and two and I'm pretty sure they're real time, cause they use a comic art version in some cutscenes. Try watching inFamous 2 cutscenes with other costumes you get the cutscenes whatever costume you wear.

This is the only game even remotely drawing me towards a possible PS4 purchase in the future. As long as Sucker Punch does a good job on this game(and let's be honest; this game will be just as amazing as the other 2 were) then I will get a PS4 at some point.

Wazley Da man Don't forget Resogun, another awesome PS game, and so far, out of all the versions, I'm loving the PS4 version of Battlefield 4. I do pretty damn awesome with it, much more than I ever did with the Xbox 360, though, that game honestly is more of a time killer until more games start coming, including this one, which I'm excited as hell for :)

Story of my life!

This is the one game that I would have bought a PS4 at launch for, now I can wait until March and save up!!

Love the looks of this game from the trailers! Love that song, too! The characters seem like instant fall-in-love-withs, and as long as the core idea of the inFamous series is there: karma makes a difference. Also, if this is in the future after Cole sacrificed himself and all living conduits, then that would be pretty cool.

The voices and body motions look so good on the game.

I bet the last power they reveal will be electricity :).

30fps isn't so nesecary with a game like InFamous, it is nice to have 60fps, but it only really matters when you're playing something online like a Shooter. If it runs a solid 30fps with these graphics and in 1080p i'm happy.
