Interesting and well done. My uncle's best friend was Charles Floyd, the son. Mr. Floyd was a nice man and he showed us all the things he had from his dad. He didn't remember much about his dad, my uncle remember him a bit better. Of course I never heard the bad. Fun thing was my grandfather's pal was a constable in Commerce OK who Bonnie and Clyde killed. When I was a kid the old folks would talk about the murder....and I was terrified. I KNEW they would get me. What they didn't tell me was they had long been dead and we're not going to get me.

This information may be included in this as i just started listening.. For a while in his childhood he lived directly across the street from the train depot involved in The Great Locomotive Chase of the civil war. Adairsville Georgia. I played music at a annual festival there one year. His home was in my view from the stage the whole time! Pretty cool!

Charles Arther Floyd is actually an ancestor of mine. An uncle several times removed but still of blood relation. I remember as a kid hearing stories from people who were either around at the time or knew someone that was around and lived in the area at the time how the public almost saw him as a hero for burning loan papers of the banks he robbed. Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker were seen a similar light for just leaving large sums of cash with the people they made contact with

I do not believe that she thought he was in his early 30's at all ..... that is your interpretation while grasping at straws of sensationalism......he was exactly 30 years old when he died
