I found that so funny considering how many volts are required for electricity to show that brightly,that cole only "stunned" the bird!

God. Hearing Zeke's monologue at the end is genuinely painful. You hear him stuttering like he's gonna break down into tears. It makes me cry every single time.

This was the only game except The Last of Us to have ever gotten me to my breaking point due to Cole's death in the good ending. The minute the music started I felt as if I had lost a very important relative. This game was one of the greatest exclusives for the PS3 in its era.

Edit: When Cole is powering up acension parish Zeke brings up Trish and Cole was in silence and then Zeke apologizes as if he knows he should have not brought it up but he did and if you free roam you can sometimes hear “Gorgeous Corpse “ playing in the background with means he feels scared and depressed, angry, nervous, guilty, regret, and sorrow so he has not gotten over Trish personally I would’ve have to have at least a year and a half to get over a death which is a long time if you think about it but it really isn’t. So Cole has not forgotten about Trish. If Trish had lived there would only be one ending. Evil Karma. So Cole has not forgotten about Trish

Kuo tried to make the moves on Cole but he pushed her away, same with Nix. Cole doesn't want the people closest to him hurt or dead, like Trish unfortunately.

Just a little inconvenience

Bertrands limo scene always got me. It was the hype of the original trailer for this game. Then if you miss the landing during the game, they just kinda wait for you to jump on.

44:30 Is my favourite scene because I just luv it when nix start dissing Kuo so hard it’s actually hilarious the dynamic is memorable

Nix wanted revenge on the Beast for killing her monster, Kuo joined the Beast because she was scared to die.

I still love this game so much. Every time I was bored running around after I beat the game I would make a new one and start over. Eventually I had to delete old ones to make new game data. I still want to play this game but my playstation doesnt read disk anymore :(

Man, infamous 2 was my whole childhood, it felt like. Every so often i go back and play the game and it always gives me the same joy

This was ahead of its time

I miss those old days I wish I could go back then in time and relive all these years again having my present conciousness

Let me just say my whole family is into the infamous series, so seeing the lightning bolt at the end we all pumped fists and said he was alive, then began a very long discussion on the possobilities. I love my family when we do gaming nights lol

Cole was entirely self taught while Kuo was getting pointers from Cole and may have saw how Nix used hers as well and took inspiration. Plus Cole got his powers in a completely different manner

Nah it'd nullify alot of the games mechanics like flying ice launching firebird strike the lightning tether e.t.c. having Cole not being able to fly/telepot was fair but I think they could've added something similar like a dash sort of thing that would be used in short bursts and would be like teleporting forward or if you held it down he'd keep going (this would drain electricity fast)

I’ll be honest first time I played this I was not expecting to fight the Beast right away. I was like “ oh shit it’s here?! Shit it’s here! Alright let’s go then!”

This video is incomplete, there is a mission missing whether you gather evidence on the villain or recruit monsters.

I'm sorry, but story wise infamous second son just doesn't hold a candle to this.

I really wish someone uploaded all the cutscenes with the classic Cole skin because I always grew up with the Jacket Cole. I even played the whole game using the classic Cole skin and that jacket still made look more badass.

This one really fucked me up when I was younger. It was one of the first games where I took the morality system seriously. I got to the final decision and I paused. That'll always stick with me. I wish Second Son did the same. Still liked it though.

Honestly my question now is how did the militia obtain so much control over the city? In the first game the entire city was an apocalypse and it made sense with the gangs, but New Marais is a normal city (minus the mutant creatures and super soldiers) with cops and people. It's even weirder to me because even local police fight with the militia including an entire rebellion made up of people fighting back

17:09 listening to this now after playing the game multiple times, they really made it sorta obvious about John. If you were paying attention to that then it shouldn’t have been a surprise he was the Beast since he has the Conduit gene. But of course Cole thought he was dead since according to him the Ray Sphere tore him apart to atoms.

They are. Second Son takes 7 years after the events of 2, which in turn take a month after 1. Both 1 and 2's Hero storylines are considered canon, making Second Son the third in the timeline.
