@@naimalum Dark knight refers to Batman. Batman is a silent guardian, doesn't matter to him if he gets cursed by his own people or praised. He is also a master teacher, his sons- the robins, being the students. His sons are the ones stepping into the light while Batman hides in the shadows. It is a very old popular culture reference. Dravid is very much like Batman while Sachin was Superman- a symbol of hope especially in the 90s. But in the end, when everything falls through, Dravid is the one who keeps standing, who keeps guiding.

Like I said before, he was never in the dark nor I agree that he's a silent guardian. People knew what he is doing and had expectations. I understand the superhero references and the feeling of comparing our favourite to a superhero. It's fair to do so. Unlike the quoted superheroes, Dravid never wore a mask to help his students. He is a true legend the game has seen.

Agreed ... Jadeja was mostly useless also today rohiths decision to bring in axar against klassen very poor decision .... And vk I feel was still in ipl mode of answering his critics .... Should have just gone with his old T20 template he looked very eager to get going from ball 1 .... Goes to show that T20 is not only about blistering sr .... Everyday is not about scoring 250+ .... It's important to slow down even in T20
