Just discovered your channel and this is exactly what I was looking for. I myself also play anno 1800, but was always hindered by poor, non-longterm planning, but your series have helped me immensly in creating effective settlements and has given me chance to be able to compete with harder ai

Thank you for these very entertaining series! Remember that population upgrade raises the income most significantly. So you could have workers in Auria for little infrastructure and have a good more chunk of income. Also you can sell the ships to Archie when you have the shipyard!

Advice to rush on few canon before ships and push beer for income. You can delete few farmers on second island to go under 1000 habitants and avoid royal taxes.

YES indeed, that has caused the issue.

You probably know this by now, but at 26:06, you sat the behavior to aggressive, and it immediately went and attacked another ship. Not a glitch.
